Thank you for this tutorial. As a beginner, I find your explanations full of great tips and tricks, and although I have to replay and replay (the musical content is very complex for me), it's more than worth the effort.

Why did the musician go to jail for playing an Am11? Because he put a D in a minor.

This Instrument is a golden timeless technical marvel of our lifetime. Created in the 1930's not the 2000's. Thanks to modern technology, this instrument will continue to be legendary, and playable on just about any electronic device. The Hammond Organ is nothing without the Leslie and the Leslie is nothing without the Hammond Organ.

It's a shame that, as far as I can discern, you don't show accurate chord spellings on the black horizontal band above the upper keyboard. For instance at 8:36 shouldn't it say C D F# A, as in fact the notation shows, not C D Gb A? F# is the sharp 11 whereas Gb is the flat 12...no? For serious analysis, doesn't this detract quite substantially?

Did Barry always play the full diminished chord or can you use the first three notes like a shell chord ? I’m just starting and I know his scales on guitar.

May be it's kind of irony but 7 years old video is the best one for beginners and not only beginners. Several interesting voicings starting with Cm9 in the early beginning make well-known and often-played melody fresh and crunchy.

Mom 94 year old Mom has a 1962 B3 that looks exactly like the one you're playing. She used to play it for her enjoyment only but for probably 40 years hasn't played it much. It's literally been sitting in her formal living room without being played. The only downside is that she opted for the Hammond speaker. We are about ready to look for a new home for it. Any ideas? She love in Ventura county in Southern CA. Great video BTW. I remember playing with all those slider bars when I was a kid and had no idea how much tech was being used without my knowledge
