2:02 I’m so glad to hear that 😊 When I started enjoying playing is when I see Richard Bona singing along with his bass. I’m not a professional musician but I feel in the zone when I can play what’s on my head. On bass, and keyboard.

Wonderful lesson. Please make this video into a series about composing. I would love to see more about creating chords that go with a melody. Very helpful.

Dear Jovino Santos Neto. Obrigada! I’d love to hear more from you on this topicI’m particularly stuck with creating, in break out of my comfort zone. In my case this video will be a great new start as I usually get inspiration through playing chords, finding cool harmonies, and have neglected irregular rhythm (especially!) and melody as the trigger. Thanks again

Thank you for sharing! I noticed this trick of using voice a couple of weeks ago and as a new piano player, I find it very helpful!

using your voice to develop melody is how eric clapton would solo on his guitar. he would hum in his head , then recreate it on the strings.

Oh, I ❤ this one! Voice is probably the key. In fact, was just doing a similar thing recently while listening to the kind of accidental ASMR voice of Alan Watts on a good recording: I thought he was B, or even Bm to C and any related scales, as you suggested. I’ll add the link below if you want to try it. I suspect every speaker has a tune or scale that fits their voice...

Bravo your tutorials, Master ! I do appreciate your methods, mostly your cleared, well articulated English accent ~ instead of too many sounded-English-seemed-like, such as bastard's American etc..etc... They must do trainee English Accent... PLS broadcast my message 🙏🙏🙏

I had a minor stroke many years ago and cannot play the instrument I did professionally. That said I'm trying to get back in the swing of things, learn some new tools and software. I have posted a variety of music(work in progress) that I wrote and posted to my channel. To everyone, anyone willing to checkout my music I would love to get feedback from you. Be critical when you view my work I want the negative comments. If negative comments are objectively given with proper criticism the inherit value of the comment becomes very important. I want the bad with a small side of good. Great video by the way.

Those triple clusters in the thumbnail sound horrible on a digital piano. It has to be a polyphany issue.
