If you are very new to programming. Python can be a good choice because learning curve for python is easy when compared to others and due to rise in AI application, Python usage is also increasing. While learning python try to focus on programming concepts rather than just syntax which will help you to switch programming language in future.

I would suggest you to focus on concepts of Automation rather than Tools. Also we can not predict if playwright will replace selenium or any new tool will replace both of them. No one can predict the future but it is not going to happen in near future. Try to learn new things and keep up skilling. No skill is future proof in this rapidly changing tech space.
