Mine is 6 yrs old now. It did opened up but I superglued it and been good since. Wearing it now at work stocking shelves. Light and very readable with various watch faces. GPS too wow. I just now ordered new straps and I think I’ll get a case for it too. Got a screen protector on it. With these new accessories, it’ll last even longer. This my beater watch now!

Great review. I ordered a GTR 3 and looking forward to it. Coming from an Apple Watch and Samsung Watch world I would like something I can wear at least a week without having to worry about charging every other day. Some of the other reviews show that for steps, walking, HR and blood ox its pretty accurate so that is all I need and its cheaper abd looks really good.

Three years on and I still have the GT2e. Getting a bit of screen burn now so 'upgraded' to an alternative Chinese watch a few days ago. Chinese watch now on its way back for a refund a reverted to my excellent GT2e .

just got gtr2 new version why its lift wrist to wake feature slower than my 1st gen gtr? its already set to sensitive but still its 1 sec slower. do yall have the same?

As they sway away from the Long battery life with always on display and tries to go toe to toe with other smart watches....the bip line with long battery life was rendered useless even though that is their strong selling point. The newer Bip series ie: Bip U etc should have been in another line up preserving their #1 flagship for the watch which has long battery life with Always on display. I reverted back to good ol Casio 10 year battery watch and Timex because of this and never looked back. Too bad ...it had potential. Great video...keep rockin.

my bip s is probably one of the best purchases i have ever made as i don't like taking my watch off at night or want to have a watch that has to be charged as often as conventional smart watches. All i really wanted the watch for was for receiving/making sure i noticed notifications, and for that job it has performed perfectly.

Such a shame there are no options with transreflective displays out there in todays market. All come with either lcd or amoled displays with way less backup.

Amazfit T-Rex 2 Series and the Ticwatch Pro 5 have excellent batteries too lasting several days.

Why does the gts 3 wake up more slowly,and can it be done to the gtr 3?

Amazfit UI looks childish but way more accurate. Amazfit needs to work on UI and display quality other than Accuracy is top quality. I am using Amazfit Bip 3 as per the price i got it for around 24 dollars on sale. Amazfit watch's accuracy is the best. I use the sleep assistant mode and it is so accurate. Only dislike is the UI and display quality looks like old days display with childish watchfaces and fonts, doesnt look stylish. I would say Amazfit should atleast update the Amazfit watches fonts and watchfaces.

5 ATM is not 5 meters, it is 5 bar which is equal zo 50 Meters BUT if you do diving or swatersking the bar changes dramatacially, I guess in real live you can swim with it but if you jump from 10 meters into a pool that thing will sink and always remember the water resistance will not last forever.

Not sure why they dropped the mic and speaker in GTS/R 3 considering GTS/R 2 model had these. GTS/R 4 does seem to have the speaker and mic options as well as wifi connectivity from the watch.

I'm writing it in July 2023. Once I bought such a watch and started wearing it just so that I don't have to go to the shade in the summer sun to check what time it is. Yesterday the watch opened by itself. The display fell off, i.e. it opened like a flap and hung on a ribbon at the left edge of the screen, connecting it to the rest of the watch. After looking at it, it turned out that the battery wrapped in the middle of the watch swelled - it looked like an inflated pillow. It must have pushed the display out that way. Perhaps it was caused by leaving the watch in the charger for a long time. The watch beeps when charging is complete. But I thought that since it knows when it's charged, it disconnects the charge. It seems that not, however, and leaving it in the charger causes the watch to "explode"... Or maybe it's another reason, in any case, the battery stopped fitting in the watch.
