After battling Covid while far from home, now having sinusitis, losing my first ever dog on Dec 20, being in overdraft back home, not earning what I was supposed to at my current job, and now losing my fiancé due to lack of financial means and because of lack of physical strength to do the industry I love so very much, I could really use this prayer to be said for me. I’m at my extreme breaking point

For all us Christians its nice to see God the Father at work in Judaism. We Sing and pray the Psalms the same and I think of Moses the Old testiment and our cultural heritage. Shalom

It has always been important to me that my prayers be sincere and the traditional words for healing held a kernel of untruth for too many people on my list at any given moment. This is such a beautiful prayer and in the wording I always feel strengthened not just in my own health but in my ability to support others in poor health or their families facing imminent grief. The spirit of refreshment is something I can sincerely pray for. I fee stronger myself singing it It must be wonderful to be among those who when it is said "may their memory be a blessing " their families and friends know well in this case before she was memory she was a massive blessing and in death that blessing has not been diminished but builds as others become familiar with the prayer. I sometimes send one of the ones with pictures to people who are not Jews who I have asked to pray for so they have some sense of what we will be singing/saying ( In our Kis and G-d hang out it varies but this remains my preferred wording ) and they find it fills a need for something sincere as well . Thank you very much.

We sang this in temple and I learned in Hebrew school. A lot of prayers haven’t stuck with me and I’m a lot more spiritual than religious. But this song and this prayer has stuck with me for years and years

We used to sing this every time we went to a Shabbat service at our synagogue. It’s such a beautiful and healing song!
