I really like your daily reflections on what you did / learned each day in class, I bet in many ways it helps you retain / reflect on the learning / experience from that day Also I love Frankie, I think that his name, the bear, I travel with my manatee manny, so I love seeing a fellow traveler in the wild with their critter 🐻

Kelly I met you briefly in NYC this summer and learned about your upcoming adventure during that time I resonated so much with this video, the aspect of protecting yourself post toxic relationship but finding the balance of letting people in but not too much, how fun it is to solo travel but with it comes some feelings of isolation and loneliness, the desire to share this with someone else I’m like damn someone else thinks and feels these things as well, that’s a relief haha What I liked most tho is your message and reminders to yourself about discomfort. I’m a huge believer in discomfort and often times put myself in such uncomfortable positions I’m like .. whyyyy But as you said it truly is where so much growth happens. Hard in the moment but cherished forever Excited to watch your other videos and continue following your journey. Cheers !

When I was a digital nomad I stayed connected to my friends from home through something we didn’t really do before: video gaming! None of us are really “gamers” but instead of just sitting on a FaceTime call staring at each other it’s nice to have an activity you’re doing together while you’re catching up. I recommend finding a low stress, casual game that you can play with your friends and try it out. I’m a pretty introverted person so I very rarely found time when I felt lonely. The few times I did I looked for digital nomad meetups in the cities I was in to meet people. They weren’t always great but I now have people all over the world that I feel I can call friends. (If you make it to Seoul there is an amazing DN group there I can get you connected with) Side note piece of advice: as you are doing this long term think about strategically scheduling time in “boring” cities to avoid burn out. Whenever I feel like I’ve been hopping from one big city to another, running around to see all the sights I went to a city that might not have as much to offer so I could slow down, recharge, and not feel guilty or bad that I’m relaxing too much or “missing out” on things.

Thank you for sharing! I usually don’t comment but find myself wanting to comment on your videos!! 😂😂 I love your depth and search for meaning and growth. I recognize a huge spike in your energy when you talk about tattooing so perhaps this is something your soul yearns for?… the only block being your “lack of” skill set? Maybe consider taking some form of a sketching class or workshop in each place and start creating a “mock” portfolio of a tattoo inspired by these places? (Later you can refine the older designs as your skill set improves) I think directing some of your energy this way will give you more of a purpose which is helpful for Gifted Minds (which can get overwhelmed by multiple interests and stimuli)

@@kellyktang I use to be a physician, but as I delved more and more into the world of energy and mysticism, I received a strong message to leave my career. I had an Akashic Reading (google if not familiar) in my early 30s by a gifted reader, and he said I will be an artist in my later years. I’ve dabbled in a few classes here and there and definitely have the creative Artist Archetype; however, waiting to see how that wants to be expressed!

Awesome video! TY for sharing! Venice is my FAVORITE city so can’t wait for your next video. Question: How did you find the various art courses available in Italy? Is there a particular city that has better course selections? If you could stay in just one city for a month in Italy, which one would it be and why? 💜

due to my travel plans, I ultimately had to choose one that fit best with my schedule but there are plenty of good recs on google/reddit! when it comes to art, florence is a great place because of its history but I'm sure there are great programs all over italy. if I were to stay a month in italy, it would probably be a less popular/touristy city so I'm not sure! do you have any recs? would it be venice for you?

@@kellyktangI love Venice… it’s small and I loved listening to the beautiful music played in the evenings at St. Marc’s Square while sitting at Caffe Florian under the moonlight. It was definitely an ambience still alive in my memories. But maybe Tuscany, inspired by the movie, Under the Tuscan Sun, or Sorrento where the food was so much more flavorful than northern Italy!!

Dude dude dude dude I am so on board with you. I live in NYC, so I'm a bit on a different path than you, but I've always wanted to do digital nomad (and I successfully did it for like 2 months after begging my manager). Once you got to sign 2, I was vibrating -- that's how hard I was shaking my head along in agreement. My company makes me come in even though *EVERYONE* that I talk to is remote. It's so fucking stupid. No judgement -- it's all to keep the price of their property. Such bullshit. Be strong and find a different kind of job in the future where they don't have an office in NYC (lol). I would never want to live anywhere other than New York, but work is fucking me up. BRO I"M ALSO THE SAME AGE AS YOU? bye girlie.

I'm about to hit my 15 year anniversary in NYC. My theory is: If you can survive 1 year here you can survive 10. Kelly couldn't make it, that's fine. Theory proven. NYC isn't for everyone, and hopefully we can all agree on that. Plenty of great cities in the world that need people in them. (But NYC is the best)

Love New York too, and I'm transitioning into doing something similar. In Spring & Fall, I will split my time between New York and Europe (I don't do extreme cold/heat). My winters, I will split my time between Miami/Australia/South America. I will spend my summers back in L.A., my hometown, since So Cal summers are the best in the world, not too hot & humid.

If you were sexually harassed like you said, then what the hell are you doing in that park at that time of night. I weigh 200lbs and I have to look over my shoulder when I am buying my train ticket in Grand Central every day. You need to get more street smart. Tarot cards are a bunch of garbage. I wish you the best of luck traveling. Stay safe. Remember that after 35 is geriatric pregnancy, so keep that in mind if you are planning to settle down. Don't ever take life advice from someone who does not have what you're looking for.

As a person that came here as a child in '93 and grew up here, i couldn't relate to most of the things you cover. It's mostly because we live in different boroughs, which is equivalent to living in different worlds. Life in Queens is very chill here. Manhattan is for most people who want to try NYC. And of course those who do that, don't last, due to burn out. You can't live life going 200mph.

Holy hell, where to even begin. The algorithm cursed me with this video and I decided to give it a click. Please leave New York; it doesn't want you or need any more like you. Your B-roll vomit, filled with Eventbrite fodder and galactic intervention is causing the rent to increase city-wide by its mere existence on the internet. Your ambivalence and cognitive dissonance isn't because you're being "called by the universe," it's because you're chasing something that doesn't exist and your brain is slowly rotting due to overexposure to romanticized content and - ironically - over-hustling as portrayed by influencers that you NO DOUBT, consume WAY too much of. You've treated New York as an all-you-can-eat buffet and filled yourself with nutrient-void, bottomless, soft-serve ice cream and wonder why "you don't feel so good". Long-term (or life-long) average New Yorkers (not Neppo-Children or Influencers) don't live like your fantasy - they work normal hours, have normal commitments, and might do something "interesting" the city has to offer, when they have the time. Brunch every weekend, a casual Broadway show in the evening every two weeks, and alternating Ceramics classes between your Hot Yoga on Wednesdays isn't normal. You've given yourself no time to level out and see what it's like to live in the city, when your luster of it begins to fade. In the end - You are young (as admitted) so, I'll cut you some slack and I hope you find whatever the hell it is you're looking for. Just remember: The grass is greener where you water it. That being said, maybe try California. I'm sure there's a Hoop Flow-Tarot Card group with your name on it out there.

I just stumbled on your last video when you were getting ready to leave NYC. I’m so jealous that you are doing the digital nomad. So if you travel so as many places as you can, what if you finally get into a relationship and he wants to travel to a place you’ve already been to? Would you go again? If no then that would be a con because your partner wants to experience that country and you don’t, but if you do then that’s good. Hope you have fun and experience everything you’ve wanted. Can’t wait to see more of your adventures. Ps NYC is the best because it has everything you need 😎
