I had an experience in May of 2024. I have always loved Petras music. But was never into the praise music. I was painting my sisters house. And was listening to Alexa playing Petra music. Alexa played Petras " let everything thas breath praise the lord" i felt God's overpowering presence on my sister's back porch. God's presence was so Powerful. That i was literally forced down on my knees. Praise be to God The Creator of all Things. I have always believed that God is real. But i after this experience, i know that God is real beyond any shadow of doubt.

Since I was a child, I grew up listening to Petra's songs, and now at the age of 17 I had the opportunity to experience the best moment of my life... I went to a Petra concert! It was so beautiful, God bless you!

At the time when this was released I thought Petra was in the midst of finding their footing with the lead singer change, and I considered This Means War! to be them back in their stride later on. But, decades later, many songs from Back to the Street still percolate back to mind - a hallmark of strong song writing and production. I may have underrated this album!

A couple of years ago I was having some asthma attacks and really had a hard time breathing. I woke up one morning with "let everything that hath breath praise the lord" running in my head on a loop and the breathing problems were gone, they have not returned. It was something that will never leave me. This song came out over 40 years ago and is still impacting people!

I used to listen to this song over and again when I had no friends or anyone to lean against. I was a false-convert back then and I was so lonely and sad. Many hours and miles away my future wife sat in her room listening to the same song. Yeesh...I wish I could have met her earlier in life.
