Their family is so wonderful! With Mom and Dad included, there are 14 of them. The two oldest of the 12 siblings, are Joshua (who turned 20 at the end of November) and Kadin (who is 18 -- not sure when his birthday is). I've been corresponding with Joshua for almost a year, now, through their studio interface (WW Studios). In late October, Joshua asked me for our family's mailing address, because he said his family wanted to send our family a Christmas card. In return, I got THEIR mailing address, though I warned that my Christmas card was more likely to be online (it was, and they've seen it and commented back). When I got their family card, I was ecstatic (I still am)!!! They had taken a whole-family photo, and had also handmade their very special, beautiful card, created by the whole family. It's now taped to the wall above my headboard, and will probably remain there for the rest of my days. Thank you very much for reacting to this talented young quartet singing their lovely folk-style arrangement of this song. Kadin is SO good with making music "his own," and getting his family involved in so many ways. Judi and I are still trying to figure out the best ways to get all of her eight kids to sing along (and record) with the two of us. If our two men would cooperate, we would also include them, but both of them tend to mess around and make strange sounds (on purpose) while the rest of the family is concentrating on making perfect harmony. 😁😅🤣😂

Erik does a great job on this song, as does Tommy, but my favorite version ever is Dan Vasc’s version. I appreciate each of these guys for their unique skills and talents; each one always has a song that will fit all of my moods.

Well Erik was the winner of the swedish song contest swedish Idol back in 2009. He released two albums straight after that and then entered the position as lead singer in the band H.E.A.T where he stayed for 12 years. In 2022 he was offered the position as lead singer for SkidRow. Sadly Erik was diagnosed with leucemia at this time and had to undergo a severe treatment but he sang with the group and toured all the time. In jan 2024 Erik announced that he is leaving SkidRow to get time to heal from his cancer. He reunites with his friend Jona and they start doing music together. Erik is now cancer free and has made a promice to sing for the rest of his life. And boy o boy does he get better and better. Erik is also a friend to our other amasing singer. Tommy Johansson, a hard rock/metal singer just as Erik, but Tommy plays more than ten instruments. So he plays all instruments on his videos, he directs, films, cuts and edit and so on, all by him self. Tommy also left the band he was playing with for 7 years (Sabaton), to get time to focus on his own band Majestica and his covers on youtube. He releases one new song every friday. there are soo soo much for you to check out in this rabbithole =)

Sandi Patty has long been a favorite of mine (long before YT was even existent). If you do a search for: Sandi Patty Songs List -- you'll find a TON of titles that you may recognize. My mom and I, while leading worship in more than one place, would use many of those songs, because they are so great. I used to have a whole "Sandi Patty Songbook," but it has gotten lost over the years. I probably loaned it to someone, and it never got returned. I just did a quick search to see if I could find it, and I did (in two secondhand shops). It is titled "Sandi Patti Medium Voice Collection" (printed in January 1988). Thank you SO much for doing this reaction, Matt! I was so busy the day that it popped up on KZbin, that I put off watching it for two more days. Then I was hugely sorry that I had, because...WOW!!! I hadn't heard of Tara before, and didn't know anything about her at all, when I started listening. Now I know that she's a vocal coach (I can certainly see and hear why!!!), AND a music reactor (I can certainly understand that, as well!!!). She and Erik did such an amazing job with this song. Their blend! Oh my! I think I've mentioned before that what I look for in music (especially when it's at all metalized) is harmonics that don't make me want to throw things at the singers, but instead make me want to MELT! When these two were singing together, that's where I was, and when Tara kept climbing those range heights, I felt like I was already IN Heaven! I've listened to it a ton of times since that first viewing (mostly in the reactions of others, but a few times on my own, because I just have to). The anointing does not falter! Hallelujah! I haven't had the time since then to go to Tara's channel and check out other things, but I will after the New Year hits. Again, thank you VERY much for your wonderful reaction.
