Good to hear all those accolades from you our sister, just like Bob Marley said, irrespective where you come from, once you're black, you're an African. So wherever you may come from as a black coming to Nigeria you're at home, we don't see you as a foreigners. The only thing is that you came to Nigeria when the economy is so bastardized that living is so challenging. I noticed that Kenyan women travel out of Kenya than the men, (watching you from Europe) I've not come across the men, but i fellowship with some of your women in Church.👋❤

Very interesting your investigation . When you bought or build a house we do party. When a child is born we do party. When you bought a car we party. We party during burial. We party during graduation ❤❤party party party. December period is a period of total celebration, most Nigeria leaving abroad returned to unite with there love once.

NIGERIA is a funny country. They love every kind of foreigner and treat them more kindly than their own. I still can't understand why. Nigeria is a vast culturally diverse nation, but we have blended these various cultures into a blessed norm. Even as a Nigerian, There is just so much to learn about your people. 36 states is almost like 36 countries.❤❤❤❤

Kenya is on a higher elevation geographically compared to Nigeria so it is expected to be generally cooler. However, in Jos Plateau area and Mambilla Plateau areas, of Nigeria it is as cold if not colder than in Kenya. People who live in the city of Jos and Mambilla in Taraba state have the same weather you have in Kenya

Yes! U can correctly say that the cost of living in Nigeria is lower than that of Kenya. Due to their lack of exposure, most Nigerians don't know the fact that their country is comparatively cheaper than any other country in the world. Statistically, the cost of living researches show that Nigeria is the cheapest country not only in Africa but in the whole world. The 2nd country is Pakistan and followed by Malawi in the 3rd place. Due to my aversion to heat, I've not wanted to settle in Nigeria BUT the very low cost of living keeps holding me down in Nigeria. Unlike some young Nigerians who run to some other West African countries only to find that the cost of living is too high, I do my 'homework' very well. Naija is cheaper than any other country ooo!!

I was born in Ghana. My parents were from Nigeria. My mom too was born in Ghana by her Nigerian parents. I've lived in Ghana, Nigeria, Europe and now in America for three decades. Nigeria is the one country where people give preferential treatment to foreigners over Nigerians. The attitude is usually, 'this one just got here so, let's support him/her.' It's a country where a Black person is not a foreigner. Even during the ill informed decision by the Shagari government that asked undocumented people to leave Nigeria, there were many foreigners that Nigerian elders filed papers for claiming the foreigners as thier children. My own father did it for someone.

Incase you dont know Ghana did ask Nigerians to leave Ghana in 1969 and 1979.. What Nigeria did in 1983, Ghana must go was kind of retaliation.. For undocumented migrants.. We should all get our history right.

We have our own ugali in Nigeria, it's the most popular food in northern nigeria and it's called Tuwo. We are divided amongst ourselves and have tribal hatred, but we definitely love foreigners. Every Nigerian tribe loves foreigners but hate other Nigerian tribes.

May not really be hatred, may be I'll say competition, sometimes unhealthy. But you are spot on. I have never seen a Nigerian tribe that will discriminate a foreigner. Its a culture, then the Big brother toga too has a rub off on almost everybody seing the country as the big brother of many African neighbours

@ Rosemary, good morning our dear wife. I am one of your obedient follower a Nigerian based in diaspora. I loved it when you mentioned that Nigeria is a country where no black person is a foreigner. You are absolutely correct! Kudos to you for noticing that. Another none Nigerian who elaborate more on this topic is one of Kenyans and pan-African son Prof Lumumba, a man that we love so much. He has mentioned it as well. Once we noticed that you are a foreign person, we would like to protect you and spoil you that is who we are. Continue to enjoy your stay in Nigeria, if you might need anything, just let us know. Bless you.

Thanks for sharing the beauty of Lagos with your viewers rather than showing us shanty towns to depress us, particularly those of us in the Diaspora. Yes, let's keep on telling our own story by ourselves for ourselves. I don't care about what others, especially haters, think. Nigeria has the manifest destiny to lead the entire black race, not just Africa, to the Promised Land. And it's beginning to look like she has just realized that manifest destiny and beginning to actualize it one step at a time. We don't need to wash our dirty linens in the market place but must always strive as you do here to put our best foot forward by showcasing our strong points not weaknesses to the world. I've used that ferry once back in the 80s when I was still in Nigeria. It has, however, been vastly developed and elevated to a modern, state-of-the-art ferry service as critical arm of the Lagos State intermodal transportation system network, spanning rail, road, and water transportation. Kudos to the Lagos state government for its forward looking, Lagos modernization agenda .

But using of stew for soup is only in south west which Yoruba land . In south east and south south their soup is different without using stew, stew is only use with rice or with yam or any other thing but not with soup at all. Me as a Nigerian when I first come to Lagos it was like am traveling out of Nigeria because that was that first time I no that stew is soup here in south western part of Nigeria.
