I'm using a similar 8000kw diesel heater in a 2 car garage and it raises the temp about 10 degrees after 1-1/2 hours. So, not bad but thats after I insulated the walls. Also, I ran the exhaust through the wall.

Most sodas have high fructose corn syrup rather than sugar, so yes they all taste different....if you get the Mexican sodas in glass bottles it tastes a lot better and has sugar in it instead of that corn syrup garbage.

If you can find a G body Grand Prix or Bonneville dash, they can drop right in and typically hold up better than the Monte Carlo/Malibu ones.

I guess ill comment off the title alone. I saved a rust car once,for no particular reason than its one of the last European built diesel rabbits. Its got some prior accident damage, and rust. Itll never be perfect, far from it. Some panels like floor pans are available, but everything they attach to was rotted and i had to make by hand. I won't ever do that kind of project again but im kinda glad i saved the ol girl now. I can do what i call 70% bodywork. I can make it 70% good enough for a pro to take over and i find the metal work nore rewarding than block sanding. Ill shut up and watch now, hopefully it can be saved.

I'm 51, I remember in the late '80s when Coke took out the sugar and put in the fructose.... Actually our local beverage supplier had enough of the old stuff for probably 3 months after the new stuff came out. Yeah actually I don't drink much soda ,if I do I try and find a good one like a Boylans or some of the breweries around here do soda too. Hunt around and see if you can get some Jewish or Mexican Coca-Cola, it's got sugar not fructose.

8:35 you can fill that dash and get creative to mimic some texture and whack it with some vinyl paint. Back in the day a buddy got a nice 71 sport fury but the interior was a puke beige. He even did the vinyl bench seats with vinyl/carpet spray and it lasted. He had the car like another 3yrs and the seats held up great. Yep I see a vinyl paint resto for the interior, which can be decent when done with the right shades of gloss needed in the right areas.

Been reading up on the dash restoring idea. Some people also remove the padding and fiberglass them solid. Hate fiberglass but that is in my skill level.

@@redneckcomputergeek Fiberglass can be fun, I built a Smyth Ute kit with a mk4 Jetta and I was very happy doing the fiberglass work in the 35 degree shop. Gives you like an hour or more before the resin sets up and gives you time to be patient and get familiar with it. I like metal too,but for bodywork it's really hard to mess up. Cut too much off,put some back on. Same if there's too much,it cuts off easy. Just watch that dust from sanding, I tried to do as much wet sanding as I could when working with it

I'm not being mean but are you going to hot rod it with the factory 180 hp or are you going to change the engine? I mean 2020 civics come 160 hp stock now lol. I love my g and f bodies but they were dogs
@redneckcomputergeek5 күн бұрын
Agreed. I meant to say Rat Rod LOL But yes in time we will sort out something a bit more up to date for an engine and transmission. Right now it's just about saving the body and frame.
