I have never found an answer for those with no brake controler. ..with just a truck cap trying to abide by laws. my truck doesn't even have a blue orange wire. eidt: it didindeed have one..it was so old the end of the blue turned a strange ornage/ yellow..and the little white wires is the full 14 volts brake trigger.

Did you have to adapt to the longer shaft of the predator engine vs what you had initially? I replaced the Kohler XT775 engine on my pressure washer and the shaft was about 1.25" longer, so I had to use spacers between the pump and engine.

Is this a mirror image? The alternator is on the driver's side on a Chevy pu truck.

So i have a 04 passat 1.8t i have changed the maf, new coils and spark plugs, both o2 sensers i drop from 13 codes to 3 codes and has rough idol when starts like at 700 800 bounces flashing cel and then if i drive no power really i need help do u think if i change this it will fix my problem? Beneath that mock pulley is a boss to put a grooved pulley to bypass the AC, or for those that do not have AC.. trying to find a video on that setup as I just bought that bracket to swap my older truck to serpentine and it did not come with the bolt or pulley there.. I found the grooved pulley just need to see if there is some special bolt or something behind pulley, etc.. I see images of using that boss, but no details or parts list.

This has been me to, as of current date...I dont think they have made changes to these jugs yet. Still crap and costly losing coolant, putting people at risk over heating, not to mention breaking down. Just went through this with my Suburban when trying to rewire a trailer plug. There is a separate pigtail taped off inside the rear left side lighting harness that you can use for either purpose. The one 10ga wire within that pigtail is the 3rd brake light wire. C/K and Suburban Tahoe had generic wiring harnesses, if you have the tow package it will be there on any OBS truck. The ideal setup would be to use the pigtail for your camper top, and use a Curt or Hopkins T connector for the actual trailer harness if you are running both at the same time. That's about the cleanest way to go, and the location of that pigtail is set so that you can run it up inside the left rear corner of your bed.

That’s the great thing about old mechanical diesels. They can sit for years and all they need is a good battery to start . No check engine light and no computer to put it in derated limp mode.

my 05 vw passat with the v6 engine started misfireing and had a coil code so i replaced the coil, plugs and wires and now when i turn it on it has a rough idle and if i dont keep it above 2k rpms it will go to like 400rpms then die. while working on the coils i snapped the crankcase breather hose and i noticed it was plugged of old oil so im wondering if my pcv and this hose is the cause of the rough/inability to idle

I was able to start it again after servicing it but the engine runs rough and clunks much more. It also make a bit of smoke. Not much and white, but it does. what I've read is that injectors might be the cause of it. So, I was wondering what was the cause on your Kubota that made you clean your injectors? Thanks!
