I came here today because my mother in laws Lincoln has made me crazy for far longer than it should have. I've tried the factory wrench, then a 3/4, 13/16, 19mm and 20mm and was left scratching my head in frustration. I like the tip on using the 8 point. I will be going to pic one up before going back at this again today. "How hard is it to change a wheel, I've done it many times before" was what I said more than 4 hours prior to this ordeal.

I replaced the knuckle on a lincoln mkx that was damaged in an accident with a ford edge knuckle and hub that said would fit but the hub diameter is just a little too big so doesnt allow wheel to sit on the hub the way it should. The old hub and bearing are fine thinking I could just swap them out but I didnt see bolts holding the hub on but might be behind the heat shield.

@small-town-southern-man357311 ай бұрын
I have had two B&W gooseneck hitches and really like them. My one complaint is that, living on a dirt road, when the ball is stowed below the bed, it tends to get really nasty from the dust coating it (I grease before each use). As an alternative, I cut a wooden block to fill the square hole when the ball is not in use.

Did my 2017 yesterday- the good old fashioned way: cardboard on concrete! So fulfilling... Get this- Had my last change done by my trusty local mom n' pop shop and musta had new guy- it was double-gasketed!!! How on earth did that not leak??? I will mention it if I have them do it again, but probably stick to doing it myself- as I usually do. Love those valves, great for if you accidentally over fill, or need to add some additive and remove a bit, but yes, they are slow. Still indispensable, but I forgot to get one to swap out on this rig. Next time. I also use clear tubing to route the oil closer to the pan- in windy conditions, it's imperative. That lift is gold!
