Great video. Have the same tractor and after installing the PATs I opted for the next size up.

That was a good call. If I had to do it again I would have gotten the next longer ram.

Keith, I have the Pats easy change as well. What exact size cylinder did you go with?

Flipping the cylinder upside down (block facing down) works as well to prevent the block from hitting the fuel tank. Do you find the 26"+ fully extended is long enough for you? I have the Pat's Easy Change as well and opted for the ~31" cylinder from Agristore USA since the Pat's adds about 3" to length of the lower links.

No, its to short. I'm going to have to make a bracket to extend it for the box blade. I cant drag the back blade, the front blade keeps digging in to the gravel. It does work well for the bush hog. I'm now able to get over stuff in the ditches and come down on top of it. I guess Ill have to buy a plasma cutter and make a bracket. Its a shame that I will have to buy a new tool.. LOL

Well done. Good info. How has the length worked out Amazon still has only those two lengths you listed. I have a CK3510SE also. Have an idea to add a Summit Hydraulics Hydraulic Multiplier on. One for the top link and the other for a hydraulic side tilt. 👍🍻🤠
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
I installed the shorter one. Since I have the Pat's quick attach it's just a bit too short. If I had to do it again, I would get the next longer one. Originally, I wanted to be able to pick up my bush hog so I could get it over the brush in the ditch. In the end I ended up ordering a flail mulcher for my mini excavator (still waiting for it to get here). I might have a line on a hydraulic side link later in the year. If I can get one I'll do a video of that in action as well.

When you run your brush cutter doesn’t your pto shaft bind?…seems like a really steep angle when pulled up with the hydraulic link as your starting over the brush? Nice review of the link
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
No, I haven't had any problems with the shaft binding. Thanks, Im glad you enjoyed the video.

I have the same tractor and purchased the same top link. Hooked it up today and it cycled once and then wouldn't do it again. Not sure what is going on, tractor is brand new. I almost feel like the quick couplings are not connecting properly if that's possible. The hoses tense up when I try and operate it but cylinder doesn't move. One of the 2 connections seems to have some play while the other seems tight. Any ideas?
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
If both hoses aren't seated it won't work. Do the hoses tense up when you move in both the up and down position? If not I would chech to make sure the quick connections are seated properly.
@dr650tim2 жыл бұрын
@@VansHomeServices what got me thinking it was the couplings was I could hear a slight click which I believe was the coupling moving apart. Almost as if the hydraulic fluid starts to flow and pushes the hose side away a few millimeters stopping the flow. The connections drain more fluid than I expected when I disconnect them

Can you list the exact link on AMAZON you got this from? There seems to be 5-6 when checking with different sizes...
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
I bought the shorter one, amzn.to/3wiTR7c . I would recommend the longer one if you have the Pat's quick attach, amzn.to/3LYCq2o I hope that helps.

I thought in your video, you were going to list the parts in the Comments Section?
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
They are listed towards the bottom of the comments section. Ill move them further up. Thanks for letting me know

I just updated the comments and put the links towards the top.

Shoulda just flipped the entire cylinder over where the hoses come out the bottom. And also it’s a Kioti with a long I ( pronounced like coyote) not a keoti.
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
I thought about flipping it over, but it seems to be working as is.

did you connect to detent or non detent port

I connected to the non-detent.

I started with the one you have butt quickly bought the longer one!! Just saying
@VansHomeServices2 жыл бұрын
I was thinking about getting the longer one, but I think Im going to build some brackets to extend the pin on the box blade. It really just gives me an excuse to buy a plasma cutter.
@wildamericanarchery5129 Жыл бұрын
Or flip the whole cylinder
@VansHomeServices Жыл бұрын
That would probably work best. I've had it on now for over a year and it hasn't been a problem.
