Continuity and expressions need a bit more work, but the fact that it's human motioncapture, added to a game engine, picture captured and then run though AI to make it anime. It's really not bad. I suspect we will see a lot of such tech going forward, at least to add details most anime productions drop, like blinking characters.

It's just that the Banish spell has a flag "Harmful", so it counts as an attack. There would have to be a particular script to go around that and trigger a specific reaction, which is not here, obviously

There could be a way to officially add add voices to your TAV with a mod that uses AI. The problem in this video is the TAV mouth does not move. In the game when your TAV talks the mouth moves with the voices but rarely. The mod will need to create this during conversations as well which I'm sure this can be done but just time consuming. I really hope there is a modder that can get it done i would love to see it.

Shouting your moves can be a good practice, if you switch it up occasionally and shout something you don't plan to do but want your opponent to expect so that they don't respond correctly to what you are actually doing.

You don't need to fight Astarion to get that conversation. You just need to be quick.
