i bought this as a young teenager and my computer would just freeze up during the installation. i was trying to install it on the most basic family gateway computer and had no idea that computers had different specs and capabilities. Still very bummed to this day, particularly with how badly they sunk Planetside 2. lost but never forgotten !

If we can accept that it is logical in-universe for Mumbo to be jamming with Banjo, Kazooie, and Tooty, then we have to wonder where he just was. We also have to wonder why he was able to time his landing perfectly. Banjo seems to be angry at Mumbo for nearly squashing him flat, and so he takes his anger out on the toy xylophone Mumbo just conjured up. Then he seems to forget that Mumbo has split-second spell timing and is just embarrassed to see Mumbo’s fiddle. But he decides to start respecting Mumbo because he has proof that Mumbo can do anything.

I invaded Iraq. I found no weapons of mass destruction and felt used by Uncle Sam. I redeployed in August of 2003 and spent my deployment money on an Alienware rig ($900 for a 19” flat panel monitor at the time). I played a new game called PlanetSide for hours and hours on end in the barracks. One stretch was 40+ hours straight. The game was as immersive as WOW was. PlanetSide helped me process and get through a tough time in my life. My favorite game ever, up there with Doom, Wolfenstein, Goldeneye 007, and the old Battlefield era.

Yeah. I played from 2003 to 2007. I guess I rage quit 8 times but always came back until the last one. SOE was the problem. I played TR on the European Server, NC on the East Coast and VS on the West Coast. I had 3 accounts and could crew my own tank. The Vanguard worked best as I could steer the vehicle with the keyboard for one computer and work the gun with the mouse for the other. I could fully man the 3 man vehicles but not well. If I was using a 2 man tank - I'd put the 3rd guy in the Gen in an AI Max. With All three guys equipped as Engineers I could mine the shit out of a base. One of the things I used to do - was go on the test server - where I could have a guy on each side - and see just exactly how things really worked. I went to EVE from PS and played seriously until 2012. Then I actually went to WoW for a while until I got tired of it. I played PS2 but my good gaming computer broke and I've not fixed that. The computer I'm using here - is fine for a lot of stuff but not for a shooter. If I get in a big fight my frame rate is measured in Seconds Per Frame ... It's not bad but I just can't take part in big fights. The Great thing about PS was it's scale. You'd have hundreds of people fighting compared to like 64 on some of these other games. .
