Thank you for this very informative video! ❤ I have a fabulous collection of screw back and clip earrings, atleast 2 dozen or more. Some incredibly old but I also have nickle dermatitis and very sensitive skin... Do you have any recommendations for me so I can enjoy wearing my gorgeous pieces without breaking out terribly and having red bulbous earlobes? 😢

Such an informative video, you're amazingly well informed! This Hungarian master who invented irredescent glass is not often credited, Daum and Galle really stole the show.😁 He was called Sovánka István. Died poor and he left glass-art decades before his death.😢 Such a wasted talent The milk glass with the candy beads looks Bohemian, here in East -Europe we have a bunch of them. It's easy to find them nowadays in any thrift store or market.

I’ve got an old gold pair of earrings with gold clips that I need to convert to posts, they look Lacey withe gold surround that matches a gold ring with an opal I bought at a pawn show a couple of years ago!

They sound absolutely lovely! When you have the work done, be sure to ask your jeweller to if they can apply the value of the gold clips to offset the cost of the work. (If not, ask them to save the gold clips for you to sell as scrap)

I was scammed a few years ago for $300.00 on Face Book Market Place. i thought i was purchasing an Streling Silver Art nouveau Brooch. I was introduced to screw backs when I called dibs on them of my grandmothers when she passed in my late teens and none of my cousins wanted them either. They;ve become an obsession, and I maintain they are the ONLY kind I can wear for hours and hours and they don't breakout my ears. They're awesome.
