What is the table width range of a transitional diamond? I have a diamond that has a 61% width which doesn't fit the modern brilliant cut. The 61% gives it a vintage appearance but you also don't get the most of light return, though some. I don't think I like the modern splintery effect and I don't believe you should be able to see so much black with the appearance of arrows but everyone is saying it has the biggest flash. I'm still trying to decide if it's worth it. I'd prefer something chunky faceted and rough earth looking with some sparkle if possible.
