If we are talking inteded way to get stars, Blast to the Lonely Mushroom should not be anywhere close to 72. Its a hassle to collect, and you are expecting tons of game overs on this star.

(My personal take) Pikmin 3: Yeah, kind of a weird choice, but i just cant help but love it, the graphics are amazing, the stakes are high, the characters have good personalities, and, the ending...is just so mysterious, the plasm wraith is just...so weird...in an amazing way, and still to this day it is theorized what it is...if only Pikmin 4 was focused on the events after pikmin 3...instead of it retconning Pikmin 1-3... Pikmin 2: this game is very difficult, and i love it, and it Introduces Louie, the best villian in the series so far, just overall a great game Pikmin 1: Olimar has so much personality, and the stakes are REALLY HIGH, if you dont leave, you ARE GOING TO DIE PAINFULLY, Pikmin 4:...alot of what im about to say might be controversial...first...im not a fan of the graphics...they look...i dont know what it is, but it dosent look pikmin, and then we have the characters...flat as paper...and then...probably the most controversial opinion...Oatchi...i dont like this dog honestly, and i LOVE dogs, but this thing is way to overpowered! Like you could probably beat the game with just Oatchi, and because of him, THE PIKMIN ARE ENTIRELY SIDELINED, this dosent feel all that much like a pikmin game at all even! You dont have to worry about time, and you dont really have to care about your troops, because you have Oatchi!...sorry if i offended anyone...i felt it needed to be said...

All right. After listening to all of the reviews I have a few things to say: 1. Anyone who compares this to a mobile game, hasn’t played any mobile games as they would know that most of all mobile games has microtransactions within them. Also they usually (lately there has been an uptick of some mobile games appearing very much like regular console games plus microtransactions) lack many complicated game mechanics as they are all built for people to put their table/phone down. 2. As someone who did not play all the way through Breath of the Wild, did not bother with Tears of the Kingdom, there might be similarities but Echoes of Wisdom have mechanics from multiple previous Zelda games. Breath of the Wild did not introduce puzzles into Zelda games, they have *always* existed in one form or another since the very first Zelda. There was literally a door you could not open unless you performed a sequence of events in quick succession. Minish Cap and A Link Between Worlds had multiple areas with puzzles. The BofW and ToK had multiple ways to solve puzzles. Echoes continues this but still has fresher ideas for puzzle solving. 3. The combat and echo mechanic felt very fresh. There are many ways after the initial game play to acquire different echoes to take out enemies. The funnest one I’ve found is releasing a murder of crows for little enemies and the more costly echoes to take out harder enemies. The Swordman mechanic is an interesting take on the repetitive combat of spamming the sword or bow and arrows to defeat enemies. Up until Echoes, the hardest enemy I have ever played against to me was Bongo Bongo and that was because the jerk pounded the massive drum Link was on. 4. The UI for the echoes can be a bit frustrating, especially when you haven’t figured out that you can adjust the echoes listed from last used or frequently used. Personally, I just hold down the shuffle to make them go faster. 5. Many of these reviews actually lack true constructive feedback. They sound like a bunch of whiny little babies that wanted the exact same game! This was the same complaints against Wind Waker, Spirit Tracks, Phantom Hourglass. I would respect them more if they just flat out told the truth. The toy look used in Link’s Awakening was a complaint used against the revised Switch game but was enjoyed anyway. People also complained about A Link Between Worlds. I will also say this: many players sounded as if they didn’t even bother to truly explore anything at all in the game. I mean if they wanted their handheld the entire game, just say so. Overall I am having a blast with this game and the last time I had this much fun with a Zelda game was with A Link Between Worlds. As for replay ability… I believe it actually has that going for it. Simply put.. you could do the game all over again to see what different puzzle solving you can do on your next play round. Note: The person who complained about reading… and the first reviewer sounded as if neither of them had two brain cells to rub together. It’s rare to actually hear so much stupid coming from someone.

It seems a lot of people put the cost before anything else when rating something. In my opinion the value should not be a defining metric. If you were to take my favorite game to play and make it $20 more expensive. Would it stop being my favorite game? If a game is a gift does it immediately become a better game because I didn’t have to pay for it? If a game is $100 and 2 hours long, it can be both a terrible value and a great game.

I give this game 8.5/10 because I like the art style and gameplay, also the puzzle is very entertaining and challenging. Even though, I really dislike the scrolling UI to find the right echo. I mean the dev team should have done it better. Also, some dialogues are boring

Some of these are pretty valid though. 1. The UI is definitely annoying, especially once you get more echoes. 2. Tri never shuts up. It says the same thing at every rift entrance and exit instead of just opening it up 3. Personal preference but it DOES get boring playing as zelda. You have a hoard of things you can summon but you just have to wait for them to finish the fight for you. There's no real way other than pretending to be link in sword mode for zelda herself to contribute to the fight at all so just sit back and watch I guess? The game is still good and fun but those are very valid criticisms of it

I agree somewhat with the first review, I didn’t care for the physics engine in totk and did everything to avoid it. Being unable to play in sword fighter mode for very long make sense, but I like sword based combat in Zelda games. Most fighting in newer Zelda titles feel slow and weak, at least in skyward sword the sound effect and combat made me feel powerful which made up for the longer fights. The echoes as a mechanic sound cool on paper but considering how limited you are with how many you can make it’s kinda obnoxious.

Have these reviewers… not played a video game? In all seriousness, the UI could have definitely used an improvement (scrolling through is tedious) and the game could be a little dialogue heavy at *some* points, but neither of those came close to ruining the game for me. Just like every Zelda before, this game is fantastic

Lol, these reviewers are pretty freaking childish. Do they think they are edgy? I played this game in a few days, WHILE working and never once found it repetitive. And i used beds as stairs all the time. 🤷🏼‍♀️ The echo list was a pain but i didnt care because it was an amazingly fun game featuring our favorite girl. So to you who review this poorly, and i mean, your opinion is poor, you need to grow up and learn that not every game needs to be a playstation or xbox game, especially since Zelda has crushed them constantly and Nintendo continues to win the console war. In closing, people who specialize in first-person shooters shouldnt throw stones. Because I will make a several echos of them and throw them back at you. Run back to your pathetic console and learn what over 100 years of experience can get you.

Apparently that lastcomplaint comes from person who has no idea what takes to make a video-game. It ain't easy nor cheap, plus you got a budget. Going over the budgets amount too much can cause a game to be discontinued, Plus the dramatic rise inflation is the reason for the price. I think they did an excellent job on the first game where Zelda herself is the main protagonist.

I admit the "OnlyOne" guy said that actually I thought was a good statement was "why not include Co OP or the ability to see how other players solved a puzzle". I think it would have been dope to see how other players would have solved a puzzle, room, boss. I would have gladly shown mine.

I think a lot of their points are valid. Especially the comment about too much dialogue. It’s unnecessary, overly kiddie, and took me out of the game. Don’t think they can justify such a laughably low score though. Also, for reference, Zelda OoT was $59 when it released back in 1998. Thankful we are still able to even pay this price for games. Just with regular inflation that would put a game at around $115 today.

I finished it yesterday. The music is partly terrible. Especially the swamp main dungeon with its high pitched flutes in a 30 second loop made me cut the audio. Over all several tunes where just 30 second jingles, which triggered me hard. Sure they are iconic and some tunes are really good, but if my ears start bleeding at others, this isn´t good. I am usually not a frame rate guy and at the beginning it seemed to be ok, but at the end the over-world jittering started to annoy. Last but not least the echo selection menu could be so much better with a little tweak. It is for sure not a 0, but it is also not a master piece. 70/100 I would say from my personal play through experience.

While these reviews were over the top and humorous, there really are legitimate gripes I have with the game that hold it back from being a high rated Zelda in my view. For one thing, there's way too many useless and underutilized echoes with the puzzles where I rely probably on a good dozen or so echoes for the majority of the game. Second thing is you rarely if at all from what I remember get a unique ability or special item for completing dungeons and all come from doing sidequests which is counter to classic Zelda and is the same issue I have with BOTW and TOTK. Then thirdly, and I'd say is my biggest complaint and the elephant in the room, has to be the combat. It's more often than not frustrating and annoying waiting for the echo monster AI to attack other enemies that you need to deal with in order to progress efficiently. Sometimes the most efficient way is Swordfighter mode but that's timed and limited especially when you need to conserve it for bosses in dungeons. This game was an alright experiment but is it too much to ask for in getting a Zelda game with 8 dungeons, 8 unique items with puzzles tied to those items, and an epic Gannon fight?
