This is pretty solid ranking of Mario Kart 8 DLC tracks. Though I disagree that the Mario Kart 8 Rainbow Road is lacking creativity. I mean, it's literally an illuminated rainbow road in a space station! It's perhaps the most original Rainbow Road I've seen yet. Not to say it's amazing or anything. I just don't see how it would be lacking creativity in that regard.

I completely agree with you ranking n64 rainbow road over the mk8 one. It might not be that much visually but the layout is fun and challenging and it is proper satisfying when you don't fall off on 200cc

honestly rainbow road 8 is the best one. the space station theming is the most creative approach they had yet. Meanwhile they gutted rainbow road 7 with overscaling it and texturing it like a blue road of candy.

I think if I made a list of tracks in Mario Kart 8D I’d probably put all the city tracks pretty low. Mostly because the layouts are really confusing when all that guides you are arrows that only show up once you get close enough to it. It makes the tracks pretty hard to read and over all makes me appreciate something that I just took for granted before hand which is knowing where to go lol.

21:58 if i had a nickel for every arrow field track in the bcp that had its only lap change being going in reverse in the third lap with royal-sounding music in 3/4 time, i'd have two yadda yadda you know the thing also, excitebike being 23rd is something i really disagree with, i respect your opinion and i think it tries some really interesting things but in practice it's really boring for me since it's all tricks and no turns, not even semi-interesting gliding sections or big jumps as sky high sundae does (which i still think is not that good). and yes i think even toad circuit is much more fun than it

I agree with loads of your picks, including Baby Park quite high. I find it just a lot of fun to drive. 😁 I despise the Rainbow Road on the space station, it's the complete opposite ie ZERO fun to drive.

Mario Kart 8 Baby Park isn't as fun to me as the og in Double Dash because there's no unique items that really make it crazy like giant bananas and shells. Also, there's a gate in the middle of the Mario Kart 8 version, so items can't crossover like in the original and the physics of Mario Kart 8 just make it less satisfying to hit the corners. Idk I mean it's still an interesting concept, but I don't think any version beats the original.
