Wow. This video was back when I was in elementary school. 16 years? That was back in 2007 or 08’. And I am just now seeing this and I am appalled that the game was that rigged in college sports.

These are the kinds of historic moments we lose as the PAC-12 dissolves. We lose the eighth oldest college football rivalry in the country. We lose 108 years of regional matchups across all college sports on the West Coast. We lose the passionate fanbases of Oregon State and Washington State. College football is completely different now, and it continues to change for the worse.

To put some perspective on this: Washington had finished #2 the previous year, was preseason #2, and Sports Illustrated had picked them to win the national title in their 1985 preview issue

I remember that game very well. I remembered watching the Civil War the weekend before. And that was actually a very good and entertaining game. They ran a intentional safety at the end of it to try and preserve the wind but they did it wrong so they still had to kick off. I was nervous until the end of that game but I remember that was a very good game and it was the last final last absolute last. Regular season college football game of the year, it started so late, and Hawai is 2 or 3 hours ahead of West Coast time that it was actually after midnight on the East Coast. Certainly want it started and I think just a few an hour. Or so after it started, it was after midnight so. A good game, the Beavers played the very first. And the very last college football game of the regular season that year go Beavers 🦫

Very hard to beleive that stadium holds only 27k capacity. That place sounded very loud all game. Great fans.

I remember watching the '06 one with my cousin, UNC pops it up, we both jump to our feet, "GET UNDER IT! GET UNDER IT! YES!!! WE F***ING WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!!" Then in '07, with my cousin again, obviously not AS climactic since we were up 9-3, but the called third strike, I remember saying, "Nice strike 3...oh wait, he's out...OH WAIT, THAT'S THE THIRD OUT! HOLY S**T! WE WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP AGAIN!!! 2018, after the third out, my then 4 year old is seeing me cheer and stands in front of me, "Daddy, we won! We won!" GO BEAVS!

I think it's pretty safe to say at this point, that this will go down as the greatest game in Oregon State Football history

My Dad had on field passes to this game with his friend, and I remember walking out of the mall at seven years old telling my mom that we were ahead by 21 at halftime and she didn't believe me. We rushed home and watched the greatest finish of all time. This game is legendary, Go Beavs

I was like 13 watching this game! Remember it like it was yesterday. Hekker is a super bowl winner now too!

I was a student in 2004-2006, we were in the stands when there weren't many people in the stands. By the time I graduated, it had become a different stadium (for the better). It was crazy seeing the stands when this entire run began, then being in the (temp) stands for that Stanford Super Regional (both games were different levels of magic, and I was in the outfield stands watching), and then comparing that to what Goss Stadium has become. Heck, I was excited about the outfield scoreboard happening.

I was at this game front row my sophomore year and it's probably my most favorite sports/college memory. Brought a tear to my eye seeing this 13 years later!!

Do you by any chance have the rest of this game? Been looking for it forever. The Locker hit & ambulance, numerous fights, horrible calls against Oregon State, and the really loud and continuous booing throughout the second half.

Imagine if the Beavers win in 2021. That’s 14 years after 2007 while 2007 is 14 years after 1993. That’s the reason why I’m rooting for the Beavers this year in 2021.

I was there that beautiful afternoon. 1st play from scrimmage Luck had a wide open receiver for an easy long 50-60+ yd TD and the receiver dropped it. Totally set the tone for the Beavs!

Always funny how the Seattle papers would build up the Huskies! Problem was the Huskies believed the BS . Love to watch that air come out of that balloon.

Until this past Saturday's Beavers-Huskies game, I never thought I'd see similarly bad officiating. Two times in 15 years involving the same two teams? Both calls favoring UDub? The Pac-12 has a corruption problem on its hands. The officials are bought and paid for.

I remember seeing that young blood Quizz vs Penn State, and he was running over them too. Dude had 37 rushes that night haha! Vs Cushing, Clay Mathews and Taylor “cheap shot” Mays...think Quizz and Clay Mathews had the longest NFL tenures too. Mays was a DUD. Go Beavs
