@FranckOchoa0985 күн бұрын
I have questions I’m sorry to ask, but my atv has something wrong with it. The carburetor backfires a when throttle is put and poor throttle response and dies when I put a lot of throttle. Any ideas?
@shanewilliams87684 күн бұрын
First, make sure you're valves are set to the correct spec. After that it sounds like it's running lean. Could be a dirty carburetor, lean jetting, or an air leak somewhere

The clutch can’t be getting depressed if it’s that easy it can’t be actuating the clutch springs
@ApacheGarage6 күн бұрын
@@hacobdhhd1279 Thank you I will check it out
@shanewilliams87684 күн бұрын
@@ApacheGarageWhat it is bro, is the clutch arm there has a little mark and so does the case. They're suppose to align with each other while you hold tension against the clutch arm spring there. People set the marks aligned while it's sitting slacked and that's why they don't work. Pull the arm off and put it on the splines that the marks line up while you're holding tension on the spring. If my explanation isn't clear enough, check out the cuervo racing video on the raptor 700 clutch arm. It's exactly the same. Easy fix. Great video bro

I do this day in and day out, you seem to have a pretty good understanding of atv’s, but I’d like to offer some advice, as another has pointed out, pressure wash it first, reduces the risk of contamination, always lap in valves once they have been removed, get yourself some assembly lube and lube the shit out of everything that moves, including the cylinder bore, also those foam air filters are meant to be oiled, I use k&n air filter oil, just spray it on and work it in. Be careful with those Chinese kits, I try to stick with niche, have had pretty good luck with them. I also do not use the included wrist pin retainer clips, some have been known to break and trash the cylinder, those I always use oem only or as an alternative wiseco if oem is no longer available. Keep living your best life and saving abused four wheelers.
