You said the kitchen looks different. I pull myself up using the kitchen sink and every time I get almost like Alice in Wonderland Syndrome. Everything looks really small for some reason. Btw I bet he was thrilled when you asked him to grab your butt lol.

LMAO. A gulf club? For groceries, I won't lie. I don't like taking too many trips so I'll put the front bag handle in my teeth to give tension to hold the other bags closer to my stomach on. One misconception I get a lot...a few times from strangers is "um, can I ask you a question? You wear diapers right?" "Um no." It seems like people assume everyone who uses a wheelchair wears diapers. Self cathing sure and luckily I'm incomplete so can use the bathroom normally most of the time but sometimes I can't and need to self cath as needed but definetlu no diapers. Besides even for those without retension there's surgery to make it so you aren't peeing all over yourself. There's leg catheters and mitrofanoffs too. I know some who wear a depend if their going out because every now and then they leak or like with cerebral palsy stress incontinence can be an issue but in those cases most can still use the toilet too and the depend or pad is more of a just in case back up deal. Or a security blanket in a sense.
