Takes more time to install is semantics. Sore it does take "more". But the difference is near negligible. 30% up? Nonsense. Especially between 6 and 6a. Pure nonsense.

Funny Story... I buried a direct burial CAT6 cable across my backyard to a couple of sec cams. By & by the cable failed. GD gophers!!! So, I stretched a cable across my grass to the extender box I had but no matter what, the cams would not connect. I bought a new ext box thinking when the gopher did his worst the PoE wires had shorted and damaged the box. New box came & same thing. DANG! Thinking the cams were damaged I ordered 2 new. Nope, still no workie. When the new cat6 cable arrived I plugged it into the box & it all ROARED to LIFE!! The problem was my old cable was CAT5, not even 5e. So, Yes, it does make a difference which cat level cables you use. Learning to Hard Way... !

This video saves me having to explain this to new members of our team - and explains its far better than I ever could. I guess thats the power of writing the script, editing it and delivering it. But I appreciate it takes a lot of effort to make that look effortless! Well done.

A wrapper for a wrapper! For home server use (think torrenting, Plex, home assistant, Pihole, outline etc) no one needs this

Jeremy, I would say CAT8 should be use for homes where lighting would be installed. This way it will support the latest wattage for lighting. For me it's not about the data transfer as much as it is the power consumption in the future for homes.

if a device such as an OLT is configured for syslog at port 514, does it listens to syslogs or it serve the logs on a computer?

Hi, do you have to forward port 23560 on the routers on both locations? (Your house and Europe) . I am trying to set this up and obviously did not work because I don't have full control over the router at the remote location.

@huseman21Ай бұрын
Umm why dont they just swap the names around between sites and regions, then all the confusion goes away. why code it backwards. ? a region is bigger than a site. but not on netbox?

Its ashamed you left the video on the beginning of the install. You will find that the windows installation does not like proxmox, if you continued. It would not install.

Could you provide a hands-on demonstration where you install a container, set up a database like PostgreSQL, replicate that container across four nodes for load balancing, access the container from a client, conduct a performance test, and display live statistics?
