Re: Habit trackers, I just found them to be almost another annoying habit I had to track. Busy work. And if you are so unbusy you need to invent busy work? There's probably 1000 other things you could choose that would make a more fulfilling life than maintain a complex habit tracker. And that goes for a lot of planning and journaling. I try to hold it to the standard that it's to make my life easier. Not suck up hours.

Thank you for taking the time to do this video. I actually was looking for a video for doing a scene within a frame.... but I absolutely love the layered fox and you made it seem so easy. I can't wait to try this. You went above and beyond to answer my question. I love that you showed the tips on how to make the moon and star shapes.

I love your content but you are talking and demonstrating way too fast for newbies! It's like you are in a hurry.....having to rewind over and over just to see what you're doing. I did learn a lot, it just took many times watching it to be able to follow along with you. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback Teresa! I'll definately keep this in mind for future videos :) Glad you were still able to learn from it though :) Cheers, N

Sounds like great information- too bad of all the screen freezes and sound issues. I will still watch again to glean as much as I can.

HTV is normally pressed one layer at a time. You certainly wouldn’t want to press the registration marks as they would then be permanently affixed to your item. If you can’t press them onto the item then there is nothing for the subsequent layers to align to and creating them is in essence a waste of time. They would of course be very useful when using standard pressure sensitive vinyl as they could be pulled off after entire design is applied
@thatplannergirl48233 жыл бұрын
Thanks for this :) Yes you certainly wouldn't want the registration marks to be pressed into the shirt! However you could stick a little piece of fabric tape down onto the t-shirt for the registration marks to go on, or a little square of fabric taped down etc. But when filming this I did have adhesive vinyl in mind which you can line up on itself, remove the extra squares and then apply to the surface :)

I see how the registration marks help to align each layer whilst in the software, but how do the marks help to align each layer on the actual garment, as those marks will not be pressed on the garment for reference?

This was really helpful, I wish you would slow down just a touch when selecting the different silhouette commands, its difficult to see what your clicking so we can only go with what your saying, moving too fast muddles it all. Thanks Do you or can you make a multi layered stencil video, with a close up view of what commands your clicking? Pretty please :)

That's a great idea, I can't believe I hadn't thought of that!! I keep a kind of "master grid" page at the back of my notebook with all the information I need to draw up different layouts, but oh how nice it'd be not to have to constantly keep counting 😂 It's not been too bad with my more "standard" notebooks with 5 mm grids, but I've been procrastinating starting my Nuuna notebook because it's such a hassle to count the tiny, faint marks 😅
