I live in Puyallup and struggle with having enough light for my babies, I am new to plants

@@jamiroland698 yes, it’s hard to get enough light but here, especially in the winter. I use grow lights to keep my plants happy. I have a video about that if you want to check it out! :)

Thank you for this video! In the past, I have been a plant killer (I tend to over water), but I now have a plant that I’ve somehow managed to keep alive for the past five years. It lived through a house fire this year, so I’ll be damned if I let this thing die now! But now I think it needs friends. And when we move back into our rebuilt house, I get to fix all my previous interior design mistakes, so I’d like to start with something green.

This is SO AMAZING. I love the way this space looks and I love that the two of you DIY’d some of it which made it so personal. Bummer about the trim you had to remove but oh well, the space looks really beautiful. I’m subscribing on the basis of this video alone! Thank you. 🩵

Since you’re an architect (?), I must comment because I don’t get it. The lost area between the stove and wall?? Giant error 101, especially where space is so precious. You could do better. If there is a reason to only use that square for both kitchen and bath, reconfigure to a gorgeous tiny galley kitchen! No wasted space and far more serviceable.
@alexdesignsstuff4 ай бұрын
@@cadence9055 are you talking about the corner next to the stove? I’m saving that space for the on demand water heater since we don’t have a utility closet. I’m very happy with the layout and it’s very functional for me.

just to know, why didn't you use the boards you already had ?
@alexdesignsstuff7 ай бұрын
Hi there! I did consider that, but there were a few reasons I went with new boards. The old boards had been stained so it would have taken a lot of sanding to get them ready for the white wash. Also, I don’t know what caused it but the old stain started developing weird splotches. I wasn’t sure what caused that but I didn’t want to risk the new stain being ruined too. The boards are just inexpensive decking, and it was easier to white wash them at home in my garage and bring them to the tiny house and just swap them out. But the plan is to use the old ones as shelving in our storage shed so they don’t go to waste!

How much fun to see what it takes to have a home movie theatre. I admire your courage. Looks great. You have to know that I watch tv and sometimes a movie on my laptop (I have no tv), on my sofa or in my bed. Mostly KZbin video's about interior design and also music on KZbin. Your partner reminds me of my boyfriend. He can't understand that I enjoy listening music with my laptop. He has large speakers from when he was 15 years old and has a large collection of vinyl. So when we would ever have plans to live together (so far no plans), then I probably have to live with these large, black speakers. Although I sometimes carefully say that there are also good small speakers, that are white. And then he only smiles. Enjoy your movie nights!

With the bark painting of the black bitds and other black items you should have picked up a piece or two of the black earth pottery in Oaxaca. The Dona Rosa pottery was rather nice and would fit in with your decor.
@alexdesignsstuff8 ай бұрын
I love that type of pottery! I’m hoping to get a piece or two to add to my collection but I haven’t come across any at the markets I’ve been to. I’m gonna keep looking for some though!
@susanfarley13328 ай бұрын
@@alexdesignsstuff I found it in Oaxaca and on eBay. If you find a piece with very neat lettering in the signature it is one of her children that did that. Dona Rosa's signature was not neatly done. I managed to get a few pieces off of eBay with the old signatures to go along with the pieces I got from her about 50 years ago.
