Performed by a Super band but this clip was cut off just before one of the best lines in the song. "You turn it on like a leaking tap". It would be great to meet you all.

This is the song that intro'd me to the Phonics but it is amazing how many do not know what inspired it. Go back long enough and you will see comments about it being inspired by a kiddy fiddling PE teacher. However the opposite is true. It was inspired by the story of a football coach(soccer to the Yankadoodles) who was falsely accused of child rape and how that sticks to people even when they are found innocent. This is one area where there is no "innocent until proven guilty" it is "Guilty until proven innocent". Even when you are found innocent in a court of law there is still a stench attached.

Me too… July 2001, I was 17. Millennium gig was originally supposed to be at Chepstow but moved due to foot and mouth disease. I went to Donnington Park the week before too. Black Crowes and Ash supported, still have the programmes!

@@TC_83I’ll be honest the phonics were better in morfa stadium in Swansea. Ash rocked the millennium stadium though!
