.22 cents for canned milk then I looked at how long ago the vid. was made and it 10 yrs. ago. To make the idea of making condensed milk myself would be even more expensive since I drink goats milk (allergies) and a can of it is about 7.00 or 5.00 for a pint carton.
@merryanneadair44519 ай бұрын
I thought the same thing!! I wonder if it could be done with raw goats milk. I have plenty of that!

Just found this video. I got the Aliexpress special as well, and I decided to go for a Zippo wick (with the copper wire) and couldn't figure out how to get the flint out. This helped a lot, thank you

I have an antique one that I can’t figure out how to get the metal insert out of. It needs the wick replaced because it is falling apart, but I can’t get the metal part out of the center. Any ideas? Do the antique ones not come out?

I've had mine for 3 years and it still looks new. you guys don't clean after use and your grill tops look like they have never been cleaned. Mine looks like I just took it out of the box. Take care of things and they last for a long time

Thanks for this awesome hint! by way of giving back, There’s a bit of a trick with those matches. The wick won’t burn until the fuel that’s in the wick burns. So if you think you’re going to have to have it burning for a while, it might be worth your while to do whatever you have to do, and then just let it sit back in the fluid again before relighting.

I'll have to do this with mine but mine also seems to have a little bit of wire wrapped around the wick so that'll be an interesting challenge to deal with since I don't know how much is wrapped.

the cheapest evap milk i've seen is in Aldi at 40; where did u find it at 22 cents?? they also have cond at 1.09, and fat free for 1.34, so don't know if its worth the problem!! what will u do with all this milk, anyway? make caramel?? at 2.88 you must be looking at a name brand such as Bordens which is always overpriced, Kmart also has their own brand, super cheap!!
@cheekysaver2 жыл бұрын
I am in Canada... this vid was made many years ago. I used coupons. I used it all... it is not hard to do. There are thousands of recipes that use it. I have no idea on Bordens... it is not sold here. We do not have any kmarts. Now I would do it differently... but I was using what I had at the time. It is so important to use what we have up.

Hi! Can you (or anybody) confirm the total weight for 15 lb operation? I have a pressure cooker that can hold up to 23 lb (according to its safety mechanisms) but the weight is set to work at 11.6 lb. I wanna add a little extra weight so it can work at 15 lb by doing similar calculations. Thanks for this video.
@cheekysaver5 жыл бұрын
Is it the 3 part weight? The bottom weight weight the same as the top on mine.
@andylarrazabal93355 жыл бұрын
@@cheekysaver Yes, the total weight using the 3 parts of it. I saw that the rings weighted 22 grams each and I wanted to confirm if the base (5 lb) weighted another 22 grams.

Most awesome...you can find washers from lowes/home depot...and put them on it The wabbler works off of pressure, the wobbler neck is like 1/4" or .250...so that is how the weight vs pressure works... Awesome video..my son is a machinist...and I wanted him to take the stock heavy one and skim off above the 1st lip on the wobbler and weigh it until it was at the weight of the 10lb wobbler we bought from ebay for like $15 bucks... But your method is so ingenious! Now just figure out how much weight per psi you get and voila...completely variable wobbler

That is a horrible price... you would have to put in a MAJOR order to make that worth it. That converts over to worth a trip to the mainland to stock up. At least that way you can get all the extras that they don't ship. How does Amazon work on the island?

Amazon is also bad but stores are coming around. Canadian tire, Best Buy, Bed Bath and Beyond, Bass Pro, Home Depot, London Drugs, Costco, Marks WW House, Rona and Home Hardware all deliver here FREE. There are a lot of others for clothing and such but I miss the food option as can goods are just STUPID in price. IE! Can of mushroom soup, tomato soup, chicken noodle soup, ect...... $2.85/can. I miss the $5.99 Sales for a case of each!! LOL!!!!
