Ok I love FNM however 1988-1991 is the only era from them that is my favorite and that I love until no end Angel Dust was too boring for me

***** You parrot the same bullshit as a bunch of Johnny-come-latelies with nil musical knowledge. Patton ruined what could have been a great band. His stage presence was absolutely idiotic (I almost threw up when I first saw him) and his vocals terrible. "The Real Thing" was a bad joke yet later on I tried my best with "Angel Dust" and "King for A Day" but "Introduce Yourself'" will ALWAYS remain a superior classic to those albums tenfold. You obviously were NOT there. How old are you,anyways?

***** So were not there when it happened yet you seem to think you have a valid opinion of something you were not a part of. I'm 46 and was fucking there. Mosley had a significant fan base and you are VERY wrong. End of thread. Done.

***** You are done assclown. Just go away. I was bitter for a couple years and moved on. Plenty of other great bands. You are clueless and you've been had. Now move on and don't be a sore loser. You are done here and you can "take a fuckin' walk".

Here are the entire lyrics for this version (has several differences from TRT album version): Back and forth, I sway with the wind Resolution slips away again Right through my fingers, back into my heart Where it's out of reach and it's in the dark Sometimes I think I'm blind Or I may be just paralyzed Because the plot thickens every day And the pieces of my puzzle keep crumblin' away But I know, there's a picture beneath Indecision clouds my vision No one listens...Because I'm somewhere in between My love and my agony I'm split in two; me, you My life is falling to pieces Somebody put me together Stuck in the middle of two guillotines My head is drawn towards one extreme Both blades fall and I'm unattached But I can feel another head growing back Droplets of "yes" and "no" In an ocean of "maybe" From the bottom, it looks like a steep incline From the top, another downhill slope of mine But I know, the equilibrium's there Indecision clouds my vision No one listens Because I'm somewhere in between My love and my agony I'm split in two, me, you My life is falling to pieces Somebody put me together Back and forth, I sway with the wind Resolution slips away again Right through my fingers, back into my heart Where it's out of reach and it's in the dark Sometimes I think I'm blind Or I may be just paralyzed Because the plot thickens every day And the pieces of my puzzle keep crumblin' away But I know, there's a picture beneath Indecision clouds my vision No one listens...Because I'm somewhere in between My love and my agony I'm split in two, me, you My life is falling to pieces Somebody put me together

Damn Jim sounds really disappointed with how the album turned out. I wonder what the album would have sounded like if he'd been at the helm of the song writing
@terriblecrayon
@terriblecrayon 9 жыл бұрын
From what I've read, Jim was almost impossible to find for a long time while the others were writing songs. They wanted his input but he was procrastinating as far as getting back into the studio. They had to play tricks on him (even threatening to break up) in order to get him there. It would explain why they basically wrote the album as a 4 piece.
