Thanks mate 👍 yeh it feels good being back out on the bank, hopefully I will get a few more nice fish over the winter , 😄 yeh conditions were wild that day, the thing about those ponds over there , is there is no wind break , just farmers feild and its all flat , so the winds are just crazy

😄 that will deffo have to be on the to do list !! He will love it , yeh better fights on these 6ft rods than my big 13ft shimano tx2 intensity rods 🎣

@Dansfishingvlog yes definitely my mate has two dwarf 2lb t/c rods and has had 30lb plus carp on them. I’m saving to get two 6ft 3lb t/c rods so as I can easily cast 45 yards to the island and other rod close in using heavier leads. Don’t have to have heavier lead close in but it helps hook carp easier. I have some lovely little lakes in my area and one is walking distance so easy to carry rods made up. Other lake has no parking in area so it’s a bus job. At momentI have two Korum 8ft opertunist rods 2lb test curve they cast like a dream even at 60yards and will handle any carp in country.

😂😂 it is a blast from the past mate , yeh same here , I used to go up there when I was kid , not many rules mate , Dawn till DUSK , yeh its not a boile water , so pellets and particles and super market baits do well on there , spam is a great bait , 2 rods £8
