I'm sorry I have to say as pretty as Bengals are I cannot fully support their owners because Bengals are a pure bred cat that you have to buy and that are part of breeding programs. This is pretty shameful given the feral and stray cat crisis in most towns and cities. If you want a kitty and you buy a pure breed instead of adopting one, then you're kinda an A-hole imo. Of course there are exceptions and I'm sure ppl have adopted and even rescued a Bengal so those ppl can refrain from yelling at me. As for you other snobs who just want a cool cat as a status symbol, accessory, personal entertainment device or talking point to cover up your own lack of personality; you need serious mental help.

The estimates for cats being triggered by catnip are as low as 50% of cats. There is high variability in this number even among expert sources. Humane society says around 50%, petmd says 50-79% and scientific America says it's 70-80%. The point I want to make this is it's not 100% and perhaps not even close to 100% of cats that react to catnip

I have to correct you in one point: Dont ever give your cat Marshmallows. Thats stupid and not good at all for them. And they cant even taste sugar, so theres really no point.

Thank you very much for this video. It is really true that these cats need more food, we feed our bengal 4-6 times a day starting from eary morning, maybe because they need more meat, especially raw meat. I have a question thow. Can we feed them with raw fish with bones and chicken with bones? I ask this because our kitten has started biting everything it sees, maybe because of its teeth that may have started to grow and strenthend. He is already 7 months old.

My bengal boy (15 months) has ZERO interest in anything above apart from feather toys and the tunnel. The rest he wouldn´t spend one second to. He has no interest in cat nip, cat wheel, petstages towers, multifunctional scratching boards....haven´t tried the circuit cat toy, tho. He´s so easily bored and he is a real bengal with the finest pedigree. PS! He loves crinkle balls and going for a walk in a leash.

I have a 2 yr old bengal and 2 yr old savannah, sometimes me and my savannah just sit there and watch him vocalize his feelings LOL. I have 3 cat trees, nooks, beds, toys, scratch posts, bridges, wall steps and outside time on leash EVERY day... but still he is not entertained for long before straight back to meowing. I wish there was more for him to do! Is it odd that he was never this loud, it only started at 11 months old? I love him a ton regardless of his strong vocalization tendencies, that's my baby right there.

Such wonderful tips! We have one Bengal called Trouble (lives up to his name). We had two . . . his sister Mischief, but she was hit by a car. :( We learned a very painful lesson that you absolutely cannot let your cat go outdoors. It's tough keeping him entertained especially when my husband and I have to work and he wants SO much attention. We try our best. Playing with him, providing a catio, and just paying attention to him and loving him has been key. ❤ We gave him so many interactive toys, and some with treats in them so he has to solve the puzzle. He gets bored quickly, though. *sigh*

We now have our second bengal cat. Our bengal Nanoose died a year ago and he was so lovable. I have my cat channel and he is on it for the 10 years he was alive. We loved him so much. Now we have our little Loki and he is so good. We love our cats and thanks for sharing this video. It describes exactly what the bengals are all about.

just started doing body and vocal signals, before watching this video and i see my bengal reacting, so why not countinue? because getting the clicker all the time is bothersome, pluss my cat gets distracted by the clicker, if i do not have a pocket to hid it in.

Can I feed my bengal cat feeder fish from the pet store? If so what kind of feeder fish to give him and can I also set up a feeder tank and just let him go ham on it and just let him fish when ever he wants?

If you feed your pet with raw meet it should be deeply frozen for at least 2 weeks. Then all the bacterias and worms are killed. I would not combine meet And dry food in 1 bowl because each of them is digested differently. Dry food is digested at slower rate.

I bought very spontaneously a female bengal kitten three weeks ago (not from a breeder) They told me she’s 5 months old but later when i had her already she turned out to be 7 months old. I think they couldn’t sell her and made her younger probably because she’s mainly black and only het belly and tail and head is charcoal. Is she now considered a real bengal? I don’t mind really, she’s is the sweetest cat ever and I don’t have any regrets having her. Just curious what you as an expert think. I paid 500 euros and she wasn’t chipped or vaccinated. Was this a fair price?

Sie sind meine grosse liebe und ich habe sooo viel von ihnen gelernt ... ich liebe sie ...

Hello. Could you help with my situation? We have two cats. One of them is Bengal. They live together. Bengal is very active, not aggressive. Three weeks ago we got our third cat. His owners left for a while. We placed him in a separate room. There are his bowls, toys, tray. He got used to the room. But it is difficult for him to communicate with cats. He hides under the sofa and hisses at them. How to establish contact between them?🙏🏻🙏🏻

I live on a wooded property and have a cat door for My Bengal, he gets fresh raw meat everyday, he hunts, kills and eats birds and squirrels all the time. Of coarse I give him his quality dry food as-well, but he gets most of his nutrition on his own by hunting and having fun. He is happy and very healthy. And when I brought him to the vet, the vet was amazed how healthy and strong he was and asked me what I feed him. So long story short, let your Bengal live and enjoy life and he/she will be fine, too many people are over thinking it. They are survivors!!

I have a Male Bengal named “Sinatra” because he sings like Frank Sinatra and has the most amazing turquoise blue eyes. When he talks I just talk back and give him some attention and he stops singing. He just wants to socialize and not be ignored. I live on a wooded property and he has a cat door, so he can go in and out as he pleases. He constantly brings me birds and squirrels as gifts. Yesterday he brought me a beautiful red headed woodpecker. He didn’t kill it, so I had to catch it and I let it go. Lol. He is just an amazing good soul. The only mistake I made is not getting two bengals. I would 1000% get two bengal kittens next time. 👍

Chicken is also bird meat. And since birds are a natural prey for cats, it makes sense that they'd prefer it over beef.

i just got my first pair of bengal kittens, i'm looking forward to training them, and especially to leash and harness. this isn't my first experience with training though, as i am from the rural canadian rockies and ended up with a bobcat/siamese cat by accident(siamese mom got out in her first heat). i held her when she was a minute old and she lived to the ripe young age of 19 before renal failure took her. i didn't use clickers or treats either, it took a lot of time and effort on both our parts, but she learned whistles, verbal commands, hand, and walking with a leash. she really needed that training, because she was destructive when bored(just like a bengal), and i wanted her safer around people and other animals. it really depends on the cat on what you can use to help with the training, some do work better with food rewards, others just want that extra pet. i can't wait to see what drives my little girls, already it seems we have lucked out with personalities, as one is determined if a bit shy, but affectionate when sure and the other is affectionate and eager to be with both me and my hubby. they're just hitting 4 and 5 months old, half sisters a snow mink for the little one and a pretty brown for the other.

In terms of talking, they make very definable noises. At least in my experience of having 4 over the years. You want tickles? One response; you want biscuits? Another response; you want food? Another again. They go from gruff growls (means ‘yeah!’) to vocal chuffs and lounging that means tickle my belly. I will never get a different breed. They suit itr personalities and lifestyle so well

Not ideal if you love a solitude bath. If they have access, more often than not they’re in the water at some point. So much fun and so much character. But I appreciate they’re not. For everyone

We’ve had 4 bengals over the years. They are batshit crazy and very vocal. Chat away with you all day and never get tired of playing around. Sure they run around your walls at 3am being mental but you would never change it once you’ve had one. Not for your average cat owner but very fun and loving.

I'm about to take delivery of a 6 month F3 bengal kitten, next week. I'm excited, but a little nervous, as anyone should be when they're getting an older kitten whose personality you didn't have anything to do with. The breeder says her personality is very affectionate, and she's a normal bengal kitten with her activities, but I'll have to judge that for myself. But thank you for the videos. You've given me a lot of good ideas for activities and play things.
