One intrigue point for me is what connection does the curse of immortality have between Soul and Body? We know it causes physical torment (I assume chronic pains?) on top of the "Decay" & "Rot" Capitano mentions (transforming into those abyssal monsters, like the Black Serpents or those two Khaenri'ahn soldiers in that one cave in Natlan idk what they're called man,) it makes me think-- if Thrain were to say, get a new body or something, cuz let's be honest, the Soul makes the person not the body, would that new body be affected by the curse of immortality and eventually turn into an abyssal monster? It feels like there's no way for Thrain to come back and get a W here, unless his high amount of selflessness somehow kicks in like it did with those soldiers 500 years ago. Food for thought. I want him playable, too, but the writers definitely set a high bar for themselves if they want to bring him back and make it good.

I share your opinion, while I’d love to see The Captain‘s return, it should really be for a good reason and should make sense story wise, he’s too good a character to be wasted just to make him playable. So let’s hope that if he returns, he’ll get a good story line that does him justice

I think his duty as a thrain is over but as capitano it's not over coz ronova is still breathing and celestia is still standing above and i dont think the harbingers & tsaritsa would fight against celestia without their first harbinger Another evidence is that he still has skillobj files in the data files...which only playable characters possess it

I think the point was that Ronova wasn't necessarily banned from letting Capitano die, but rather was banned from erasing the curse itself, independent of whoever holds it. Hence Capitano's offer was to fuse with TLOTN, allowing the curse of immortality to be absorbed by TLOTN (which is a blessing for them, as they only benefit from it) and thus the curse "stands" despite having a new holder, allowing Capitano and his souls to rest in peace.

This Archon Quest has got a lot of implications and I really enjoyed it. As for Capitano, I can see 2 ways of him returning. The first is simple, The Doctor can simply Hijack the Captains Body and place a new/Artificial Soul or Conscience within him, and then Modify or leave the body as is. It doesn't have to be The Doctor but the thing is, we know his Body is just sitting there and his Soul has left so if we treat him similar to Ororon, then it is possible to have a new Soul enter his body, and that way we can Have a Playable Capitano if it is someone we know, and the thing is, Capitano's body could still have some of his Memories, So the new Inhabitant/character would be a mix match of 2 characters and this would give us a Playable Capitano while allowing Capitano to rest. Second option is simply the Captain self Resurrecting, or being Resurrected Forcibly into his Old or even a New Clone body. the basis of this is, that Raiden Shogun and The Wanderer were artificial bodies designed to house consciousness and I am sure that includes Souls. So someone taking The Captains Soul and Placing it into a "Doll" body would be possible if The Captain was deemed too Valuable of an Asset(Which he is) and remember the Fatui have access to Memory Wiping and this could actually give us The Capitano boss fight as we will be Fighting to restore his Memories and bring him to our side. Yeah that was along Spiel, but serious Question, Since the Pyro Archons are former Humans, what happens if the Archon Candidate has a Hydro Vision or something other than Pyro? does it just disappear, Stop working, or do we get a Duel Element Archon? or If the said Archon prefers his Original Element, does that mean we could Have a Pyro Archon with a Dendro Vision and Elemental powers? cause that would Be funny

This is what I dont understand... he didnt get Signora treatment because hes not a weekly boss.... ALL HARBINGERS are weekly bosses...... all of them!..... so why break the cycle now? I mean hoyo can TOTALLY decide whatever they want its their game but it is kinda odd.....??? I honestly dont think his story is over. Idk whats gonna happen but SOMETHING is gonna happen and NO ONE is expecting it, which is PHENOMENAL story telling on Hoyo's part!

By the way, to fix one thing, Cap didn't trigger the paradox. If you look at the archives it says that Ronova couldn't possibly take on the risk of triggering it so she forsook his death penalty and allowed him to fuse with the lord of the night instead.

Btw, Chris Capitano's en VA, gave a like on one of my ig stories (amongst memes and argument pieces abt Capitano); but the only one he reacted to was one where I wrote: Bro's death have Awakened the Heavenly Principles. Capitano might not become playable but Thraine can

It up to developers team lol plus they haven't confirmed whether Capitano is dead or not due to his immortality curse. The developer is still keeping him as an upcoming character because characters who have a lot of lore are usually in high demand.. Even his datamined is state that he is character not monsters. They regretted killing Signora.

Nod-Krai ended up being bigger than i initially expected, with how they talked about it more than the Snezhnaya itself in the last months. They said it's going to be unusual, i'm very concerned.

I didn't see you mention this but if go visit the throne after the quest it prompts the traveler to offer him 6 Blazing flint ore. They are from tribal reputation so it will be awhile. Improves pyro travelers abilities but don't know if anything will happen with him if you offer all 6.

As an afterword on this video, there are a few things I want to address. One big point I really want to drive home, if I didn't stress it enough, is that while Capitano returning is a very real possibility, I have trouble seeing it story-wise (at least at this point in time) without it feeling, or quite literally being forced in some manner. Perhaps this is something that could be blamed on the way the dialogue was written at the end of the quest which really emphasized how much suffering he endured and how this is his happy ending. He did accomplish what he wanted to, checkmated the Shade of Death, and achieved rest after 500 years of suffering and sleeplessness, so thinking about it, this can be his happy ending and I would be okay with it if it really ends here. Bringing him back after all of that may feel really weird if his story is not written to account for how much the characters stressed that his was his end. Capitano is one of my favorite characters in this game, so I really hope that in the case he returns, the writers make it make sense and do his character justice. Sorry if this felt like a rant. Let me know your thoughts :D

Updates: It has been confirmed in citlali's story quest that:- 1. The regrator, Pantalone, is infact active in Nod-Krai, alongside that of The Doctor, || Dottore. Now, some general information as we know:- 1. Pantalone is visionless. He has alot of mora, although not more than someone like Ningguang. But why is he visionless? Simple:- The giving of visions, which are blessings of gods towards humans, is an unconcious thing. If it was concious, the Tsarista would've handed cryo visions to every fatui agent. 2. || Dottore, is definitely visionless. Although i highly doubt he is incapable of elemental powers. He may have tricks up his sleeve. Reaosning: you really think the doctor will get a blessing from any god at all? 3. The doctors base resides in Nod-Krai, as said by one of the fatui agents. Now, it's time we look back at someone- Scaramouche. Scaramouche stated that "Anyone who chooses to work closely with the doctor is sure to meet a nasty end", which is his voiceline about Pantalone. As we know, Scaramouche is almost never wrong. Proof? His theory about the fake sky was correct, all the way in version 1.1 ..Now, what does this voiceline mean? Perhaps Pantalone will face a devastating fate at the end, due to his work with the doctor. 4. Pulcinella, the fifth of the Fatui harbingers, is said to be a "president". Although, of where? That remains unknown. That's where another theory comes in:- he's the president of the Voynich Guild in Nod-Krai. Makes sense, right? 5. As stated by mavuika at the end of natlan's archon quest, since the pyro gnosis is the last, a replacement Harbinger will surely be sent to obtain the gnosis. This is a great time for either Columbina, the third of the fatui harbingers, to make an appearance. Or, this is when Genshin introduces us to The Tenth of the Fatui Harbingers, Whoever it maybe. 6. Columbina is most probably NOT visionless. As we know, she is a biblically accurate angel. A seelie who didn't quite downgrade into the blue-floating thing, and rather retained their original form. This harbinger is sure to not be visionless. She is an angel after all. What vision could she have, though? A cryo vision is what came to my head at first. Then i thought, "huh, wait. Perhaps.. The LIGHT element?" Now, this SEEMS WILD, right? Hear me out and lemme cook: i) Columbina is an angel. A direct servant of one of the four shades. A celestine, basically, right? It is not crazy to think that she may have the light element, Like how the travellers, Aether and Lumine do. 7. || Dottore and Pantalone are not going to be playable. As seen in the livestream of v5.3, we are getting many new characters. None of them match the silhouette of Dottore or Pantalone. Hence hinting at them being unplayable. I’m a little sad because Natlan is so short of lengthy events. Hopefully they will add Capitano to the list of characters playable. I think he is a well loved character amongst fandom. I especially like his morality in response to protecting others. (Xilonen especially).
