i use 60amps on 3mm metal with 6013/2mm works wonderful with correct drag speed u just need to practice 5-10 passes to get used to it, but anything under thick is pain to weld cuz electrode won't start under 50 amps & over 50 amps it make holes. i think tig or mig welding is better suited for thin metals

How many welders does it take to change a lightbulb? 10! One to change the lightbulb… and nine to tell you how they would’ve done it better

Why you didn’t show the heat line on the opposite side of the metal? How can I understand that you welded up the details. Now, I see the thick rod (that means lower temperature) and I see to many movements. So you just stick the welding metal to the surface? To understand it - we should watch at the other side and see the grey line on the joint where details need to be welded together. If there is no light-grey joint - it means that our construction just sticked together like with a glue

Всё зависит от сварки и от электродов, хорошими электродами заварит и новичок, плохими не заварит и спец

Try doing that in the boom of an excavator. I'm doing that in the boom of a Komatsu PC12O LC Excavator that the bottom of the boom near the pin cracked all the way around and only half of the boom on the cab side is attached and half of the back of the boom on the cab side attached. It's a major repair. I'm welding the cracks then grinding it flat and welding 1/2" steel plate over it for the bottom boom and the side opposite of the cab but first I cut out a window with the plasma cutter so I can reinforce the inside of the boom then weld back the window and put a steel plate over it also. The inside of the boom there's a blind spot where I cut out the window. I need to weld that part. I'm going to put a mirror on the opposite side and look at the mirror while I stick weld the blind spot. That's the only way I can see what I'm welding. Space is tight in there and I have a hard time maneuvering the rod. I'm burning the rods halfway and saving the rest for other areas. Been working on this for over a week already making templates for the steel plate to cut and whatnot. Everything is in the way so it's a pain in the ass welding and trying to see what I'm doing. I'm making videos as I progress and will put together all the clips into one and upload it. I forgot to video how the crack boom looked before I welded it because I was too busy trying to pull the boom in place with another excavator to get the crack close enough to weld and the boom straightened out. And my boss was watching so I couldn't pull out my phone to record.

Автор не все професионалы. Выложили видио,естественно будут вопросы. Мне надо 2 машины подварить .сварка естественно не подайдёт. Мне легче купить оборудование и научится,еще и деньги останутся. Вот такие как я и будут задовать вопросы.

As someone who taught people to weld, I can say only this. Anybody can weld, but not everyone will be a good welder. Practice, as the saying goes, makes perfect.
