Great tip for keeping the right elbow in which I have not been able to do. Can't wait to try it tomorrow on the rang. Thanks!

Hello Harry, another great lesson. Quick question - for a heel striker (right handed) you want the head cover on the right side of the ball, correct? I think on the video you said put the cover on the left side of the ball if you are a heel striker. Just double checking, thanks

Harry, I employed this move today (wrist set early; held it' and turned through) and shot 77 (I'm a 6 index). I centered everything (no tension... fun), but was not getting proper height and probably lost a full club of distance. I was closer to normal with my driver (75%) but all of my irons were a club short (at least) and low (a third of the normal height). It was like I was hitting knock downs all day. My back swing was intentionally very short. I've never used my legs or the ground well. I know my swing well. I'll bet my SS today was off by 10% minimum. The compliments I received today can be summarized as follows: from the waist up, perfect; from the hips/legs down, just about nothing. What can't I practice to get my speed back and into this move....

Excellent video however I have trouble externally rotating my elbow in the backswing. I can do the first bit but when I swing back due to tightness I am unable to fold the arm so that the elbow faces more to the body and it goes behind. I have been having physio to remedy this but at present it is no better. Hence my downswing is affected and my shots are erratic.

Excellent job Harry on explaining and demonstrating a simple right arm move! I have been working on this for some time now and it does make a difference in the type of shot produced! If my right elbow leaves the right side, I will get either a push or a pull! Well Done Harry!

5:55 what exactly do you mean hold the angle? Holding the L your shoulder/hand/clubhead make? If so how are you even getting to the ball?

This video spend a lot of time talking about and videoing the bad things he doesn't want anyone doing. And he spends very little time talking about what he is trying to teach. Repeating the bad moves way more than the good one, I'll pass

Like your channel,,, subscribed.... I have been playing for 8 years with few year break in between, but back in those days we didnt have YT like we have today, we just went to the course and smacked balls, used our ball sense to manipulate the movement until it sort of went straight... Been playing for 2 years after the break, and i now understand why the heck i have good contact when taking the club inside ( Bad) and every time i try to fix the plane, it loose contact... ITs this... my upper and lower move as one(BAD!!!) i push the club over and to compensate for this, i take the club way inside.. Funny how the brain can come up with funny ways to get the ball flying... I now understand that the lower body turns, not flare open, just a normal athletic movement, and the chest stays back a bit letting the hands fall into the slot... FFS... how many balls did i hit on the range and i just could not understand this concept.. thousands... now the hard work start on how do i retrain my muscle memory ... dang... I have been doing this on the range for the last week and im hitting it better than ever with a proper plane on takeaway...🙏

Making sure that a putter grip with a flat side for getting into a square position must be checked to be sure it is exactly perpendicular to the face of the putter ! I had one that was off by about a degree and it messed with my putting until I realized it was installed incorrectly….

It seems that if you are a right handed golfer, it is easier mentally to think about the right hand away from the target (vise versa if you are left handed), why can't the hackmotion be placed on the right hand and practice with the parameters given by the software as to how much flexion and extension you have with the right hand as opposed to the left? Unless someone has thought of this and its out online, send me the link. I'd love to practice with this on my right hand and see how it feels.

Very good stuff. Not sure why folks are saying it’s hard to follow. It’s about as straightforward as golf could ever be. Maybe they should try tennis.

I am a lefty and pretty much every shot off the tee just pushes straight right about 20-30 yards Is this due to a closed club face?
@JackRobinson-gu1qh7 күн бұрын
Great tip Harry, one I know I should be taking on board being a chronic ‘flipper’ my question is how do you maintain that angle without the use of the precision impact? Is it a case of feeling even more right wrist extension through impact to offset the natural release of the angle? I know loads of people say you shouldn’t be holding the angle but it’s about a feel and I think telling someone who does flip to not hold the angle is a little short sighted so I’d like to thank you for this video. Particularly the part where you tell us to try and hold the angle. It clears up a lot of doubt for me.
