To comment on your description, bomb pots are usually just that everyone puts money in before they get dealt their hole cards. What you seem to describe is another poker variant, omaha, where you get 4 cards and use 2 from your hand and 3 from the board

I've found that you can be social at a table you just have to be aware of when you're being social, don't talk when you're in a hand. Consistency is key, players will pick up on inconsistent behavior.

This is solid advice! I think talking while I'm not in a hand would remove 50% of the not enjoyable parts of playing for higher stakes. Thank you for likely removing some future misery!

Very true! There's a lot of the Masterclass I couldn't fully digest so it was far from 100% optimal. I did find 1 full day of studying did show a ton of progress in my understanding and playstyle!

@@raveeolee don't mind brother just keep learning and playing! Make sure to have a stop loss for yourself so you don't ever go overboard or full tilt. No matter how good a player you are, full tilt can happen to you.
