just played around with your free demo. awesome library dude. really like how many options you have in the full version. i play drums myself so i am a good person to say this is really awesome. I will probably recommend ppl get this over mostly anything else now. very versatile cuz of how many sounds you are offering in the full version. I was reading there is 30 snare tones. amazing dude. and we can shape tone even more with that slider bar in the software, which is kinda neat you can probably automate that for sections of songs too i'm assuming. bind it to CC. how has this been out 2 full years and i never heard of this library until now? maybe you need a few youtubers to promote it perhaps? it's really really good

i thnk my fav sound for metal drums is Counterkit , i have every drum software... we need more drums like you hear in 70s music tho.. i want that Steely Dan sound.. that's what i want in a drum library, not Steely Dan Rick Marotta, not that sound.. The Steve Gadd sound on the track Aja.. if someone can make something with that tone. instant buy lolol. at this point in my career in game composing that is want i want the most i can sort of do it with Slate Drums. . i just found your free demo and installing it now. crossing fingers i love it.. lolol cheers.

Do you use your libraries with an e-kit or programm them in your DAW? I will try to create the Steely Dan sound with our library and share the preset :)

Native Access 2 is broken,the installers have disc mount errors. Avoid this software like the plague until they fix it.

So, I can't remember buying Essentials library, but after reconnecting my studio PC i found it in Kontak 6.... LORD! this is incredible. I was a little taken aback by the open Hi Hat not being on the usual Bb, but upon acclimation to the layout... WOW! the snare & HH layout are among the most intuitive i have ever encountered. Better than SS5, BFD3, & SD4, or AD. You can easily create rolls, & intricate HH patterns, something that gets difficult with most library formats. I'm just getting started using it, but had to come & gush!

its super subtle when used as intended. Kind of didn't wow me. at extremes it does add a little something. but it also gets brighter. still on the fence.

Yeah exactly. For me the same. Not sure if I would spend money on it. Would rather pick up the MLC plug-in which already contains this tech.

I read somewhere The kit always always was the same kit from day 1 sonor birch he just changed kick brand stickers according to his sponsors the snare was also a sonor 14x8 birch he used triggers on the whole kit if im not wrong was the kick klick sample tuned higer on toms and a snare sample on the snare so without samples ita pretty hard to achieve

Seems like NI is forcing the upgrade issue. Just started seeing, "Your version of Kontakt is too old to load this file." after installing plugin updates.

For now it doesn't, yet! We are encoding with Native Instruments as we speak. So in a few weeks it wil be downloadable through Native Acces and it will run in the Kontakt Free player.

Hi. I just purchased Komplete 14 Ultimate and it allegedly came with the newest version of Kontakt 7.4.2 yet when I attempt to open some of the libraries it’s claiming my “version of Kontakt is too old”. But only a few of the libraries work. Like what is going on ? How do I fix this ? Native hasn’t responded. Do I need to update my Mac ? I’m running on Catalina.

I think you're accidentally running it in a old Kontakt version. Please click on the logo in your Kontakt player and see which Kontakt you're running? The old versions of Kontakt stay on your computer so that's confusing as hell. Happened a lot to me too :(

I would have loved to try the FREE Mahogany with Free kontakt. Sadly missing files. Could not get to work. I am not a fan of Kontakt and not sure what's going on. I run an E Drum group on FB and would love to review with edrums but no luck. I tried.

Do these drums sound as good as Superior Drummer or Addictive Drums? No, but it's free, and there are a LOT of kits to pick from - great variety of sounds that work perfectly well in a mix.

Yeah good point but the're a lot free libraries out there these days that are WAY better then this. Like our DS Drum Mahogany, or the New Free Krimh Drums.
