I have installed Steven Slate 5.5 vst in cubase 12 pro. The volume of the drums is very low compared to other vst I have (superior, ezdrummer). What do you suggest I do to have high volume on the steven slate 5.5?

If you just use it as and stereo out instrument, you can either push the fader up in the Cubase mixer or give the channel more gain in the mixer. This you can find in the PRE section of the Cubase mixer.

What laptop to buy. My laptop keeps crashing or terrible popping and noise. I hit the drums a few times at lowest settings and it quits. My PC it works fine but not laptop. What laptop works with DDS5 and waveform12?
