It is interesting experiencing the ICON Future Human Conference from the others perspective….an intermediate step toward intersubjectivity and experiencing aspects of the conference I missed. I am pleased that there were substantial moments of reverence and gratitude for the rare opportunity to come together as shared by Eloy and Trudy. I am delighted to see that we are evolving into attunement for each other and cosmic impulses recognizing the integrity of natural systems and inherent flows.

I’m not sure what is possible technologically, but would you all consider editing this video? To do so would show respect to Chris, his work, and for his excellent presentation.

Human beings like certainty and familiarity. Any virility is considered a threat. In today’s society of diversity in culture, values and religion it’s difficult to prejudge it might be worthwhile to be a little uncomfortable and be curious about the others and look for honest that could lead to better understanding for decision making processes…

Thank you 🙏 this is Joy been listening. If you are looking for safety you mast believe that the possibility of danger is present and more than safety. If nothing is good or bad it all depends. Being mindful may be the key for facing each person and situation authentically knowing all things change good to bad and bad to good is possible. Making a decision face to face on the moment and on the situation might open up to new experiences. 🎉

@ 01:05:15. she's talking about what's called "pareidolia" and oftentimes accompanied by "apophenia". They're the pattern recognition responses of the brain and literally allowed for us to survive & evolve throughout time... ie: see the big cat kill something, stay away from the big cat,. Someone in your trube freezes to death, make clothes & shelter. SOmeone get's sick from eating a certain plant, don't eat that plant, etc... Though apophenia is the irrational application of meaning to patterns which don't exist and are most oftentimes signs of a person who may suffer schizophrenia at some point in life, especially those like right-wing christians these days with their insane anti equality & "everything is the work of the devil" nonsense. But I digress... She's right, we all do have biases, it's part of being a tribal species, then the aforementioned mechanisms of the human brain and we apply those patterns or "biases" erroneously, to the detriment of evolution... I've been discussing this for 3 decades and my argument for the past 3 decades regarding this is, we have allowed things to get worse because religion & the religious have been protected, and most oftentimes by people on our side of the aisle... And this has happened because most people were raised religiously, and even when we don't believe anymore, we still protect the religious and their "right" to believe, which is fine, but almost nobody has seen that when groups like that are allowed to infiltrate the legal system & government, it ALWAYS ends up bad. MArk my words, we're not having difficulties evolving regarding all these issues because it's too much, it's because too many people played nice with nazis and now let nazis into the government... Period. End of story. Because YES, when someone has the level of narcissism & hubris to claim that they know there's a god and moreover thinks they exactly what said god would want... that's psychopathy & fascism crashing head-on... like al oil tanker and a school bus colliding... and now everyone is debating why the children are on fire? C'mon...

I think we oughta put Layman's talk in a time capsule and take it out in 10-15 years, see how this nearly invisible wriggling amphibious sea monster of a metacrisis has evolved.

It's also helpful to see that when others are projecting onto you, that projection may be coming from a younger part of themselves

Great workshop with Jeff. In the first 12 minutes the meeting was "Zoom Bombed" by several hackers. Jeff turned off his volume so he could present. It took the organizers of the meeting 12 minutes to find and delete the disruptors. Enjoy the rest of the meeting.
