RFE FOR STEP-SON Just needed some advice. I filed I130 for my husband and step-son. Husband was approved w/ expedite request. Step son approved w/ expedite request but got an RFE. With step-son i130 I included birth certificate and marriage certificate only since that’s all it asked but is there anything else I should of included ? P.S I did not receive RFE letter yet just seeing if anyone can give me some advice in the meantime !

Hi Visa harmony Please need help. Hello everyone I have a question and I'd appreciate any answer. Filling n400 for my Father and noticed a mistake. In his DS260 he mentioned his mandatory military service back in his home country with a discharge paper (the starting date wasn't on the paper) during the immigration interview but the starting date was wrong, he wrote 1989 in ds260 instead of 1988 so I included 1988 in his n400 application so can he mention it to the officer during the interview and would make him in trouble? I filled-up form DS-5507 and have signed and notarized it and have all the documents ready to send to my wife so she can bring it to the interview. My question is if the interview goes well, would they approve issuance of his US passport even on my absence? Or do I really need to be there with my wife after all.
