I watched a show a couple years ago on the great migration, 1910-1970 I think, southerners moving north factory jobs, ww2 a big boom four southern manufacturing. It was done kinda with race, but also economically, and class tiers. The Appalachian, white trash, no shoes, hillbillies, clay eaters. Nobody wanted them anywhere near. Maybe I still have some learning to do but based on all my local area companies that I visit restaurant their prices have gone up because it’s costing them more to get the things they need to run their business. So I’m trying to understand. Is she claiming these places are price gouging?

I just have to say I think it’s funny how they say prices came up after the pandemic but they won’t say they came up after Trump left office. Just saying the timeline.

I’ve never understood the “white privilege” thing. What I can say is that my daughter came home from school one day and was extra emotional. Come to find there were some comments made on the playground and some story read at school and she was feeling guilty for being white. I was devastated for her. The best thing I could give her was to remind her that God created us and he has a bigger plan for each of us. We prayed over the people who said those things to her. I honestly never that I would have to deal with that.
