I just did a 100 mile test ride on Sunday, on my friends 2916. I grew up riding dirt bikes and have been riding for 52 years. For the last five years ive been doing some ADV riding on my V Strom 1000xt Adventure. However when the going gets rough, the V Strom becomes a 550 lb pig. Hopping on the DR, made me feel invincible. I started getting a little too reckless on some dirt roads, and had a little reality check. I quickly realized I'm 63, not 16. Luckily i didn't drop it.Atvthe end of the day, i absolutely loved it. Now i just need to give my friend a deposit .

@DirtRoadLife1 , me too. I was just out your way, in late October. I took my V Strom from the Philly burbs up along the Delaware to Hancock NY. I went north into the Catskills, before heading south to Rt 6. I traveled west through Pine Creek Gorge, out to Kinzua. Then I dropped back to the PA Wilds. I didn't actually do the BDR, as I was traveling alone and no one knew my location. You live in a beautiful areaand the DR is perfect for ripping around. Your bike looks super torquey with that 49 tooth sprocket. Your wheelies are pretty awesome! Safe travels and Happy Adventures! Rich

There are so many pros about this bike, and the cons are minimal and fixable simply. I like the idea about this machine that you can change the platform at any time whether you want to use it as a commuter, trail bike, enduro, adventure, rtw, supermotard, scrambler, etc. It is a base for them all. Its the perfect economical dad bike because you can use it for pretty much everything instead of having multiple bikes and you don't have to spend a lot of time working on it and when you have time to actually take a ride you can just go!

Most pressure washers aren't designed for hot water. You can probably get away with doing this on rare occasions, but the gaskets and seals won't hold up very long with water over 150 F. I thought this video was going to discuss replacement parts and a vendor with a large selection based on the title. Looks like you have a nice property with some great functionality and toys, though. Cheers
@DirtRoadLife13 ай бұрын
@@kenhiett5266 I understand most pressure washers aren’t rated for temps of over 150F but most domestic hot water temps don’t exceed 140F at the tank. I’ve been using this same pressure washer for over 5 years now with hot water and have had zero issues. And I use it very frequently. Thanks for watching and thanks for the comment! 🍻, mate.
@kenhiett52663 ай бұрын
@@DirtRoadLife1 I didn't realize you were running off a residential water heater. In my experience, those temperatures aren't hot enough. You need to be around 180 F minimum to be effective since the temperature rolls off quickly when it leaves the nozzle. It's a little better than cold water, but try a legitimate hot pressure system, and you'll see it's a night and day difference.
