You can heat your barn and outbuildings with a non-EPA-rated boiler from what I understand. Who would say you had an extra line going somewhere else. I do like the EPA models though. Lots of channels saying that yes.. you use a lot less wood (normally around 40% less) so its less work. I noticed the area from the boiler to the house doesn't have snow... Do you have some heat loss going that way?

The only time the snow melts over my lines is when it’s borderline freezing out. Like 33*F and a dusting of snow it will melt above the lines before it melts over the rest of the yard. You will always have some amount of heat loss no matter what. Mine seems to sip wood pretty lightly. And even if they’re burning %40 less wood there’s a lot more time involved splitting it and having to let it dry whereas I can put a pine tree in that I cut down yesterday. The gasser guys have to cut split and dry sometimes 2 years ahead to get to a suitable moisture content. To each their own though.

Great info DRL. , covered it well ., And remember if your not very energetic may not be your thing, unless you buy wood and let the wife load it 😁😁. Guess that would work to 🤣🤣🤣 🍺🍺☑️. Later brother.
