Im a man under 40 and you are deadlifting more than me. I wish I knew these tips before I messed up my back improperly lifting in the oilfield and made it so i couldnt deadlift.

Sorry to hear about your back. Injuries are very discouraging! Regarding my deadlift weight...it's taken me awhile to get here, and I've had some great coaching from my husband...working my way back up to hopefully surpass my PR of 255.

Don't those benefits apply to everyone regardless of age or gender?

Yes, strength training has A LOT of benefits for everyone... I'm particularly fond of it increasing my metabolism and bone density as I'm getting older, though, as metabolism tends to show down and bone density tends to decrease unfortunately.

Literally my only fear of dying is things I haven’t gotten to do and the things and people I will miss really it.

A number of my clients have found relief with pot; but after we heal the root cause of the pain, the "need" for pot goes away.

@@shakinbottlesworking with a skilled practitioner who knows how & where to look at subconscious patterns....I can find those for my clients within seconds, and now I teach other healers, therapists, and doctors how to do the same with their clients & patients...as well as a method that actually changes the way the brain and body respond to particular past memories

You could just leave the avocado out altogether and/or replace with another veggie. 😋

Sorry but that's just some addicts. I was a drug user for 5 years and an addict for 15 years and I can tell you that I used drugs because I loved it. It got the better of me because I lost respect for its potential. I gave it the power to control me. As soon as I took that power back I became its master once more. While I believe that what you say is true for some, its not for all. Give people back their power to overcome addiction and be the master of their lives!

I agree that it doesn't necessarily apply to every person who has struggled with addiction. On the other hand, unresolved emotional pain (and not necessarily "trauma") VERY OFTEN goes hand in hand with the addictive behavior. I've witnessed many clients be set free by healing those emotional wounds, and in many cases people had emotional stress patterns that they didn't even know they were still carrying (because they were subconscious). When those emotional wounds are no longer painful, then "the need for" the addictive substance or behavior (that used to temporarily numb that pain) often goes away, too. I'm really happy to hear how you were able to take your power back! That is just awesome!! 🙌

@Healthyholistics Thank you for your encouragement and I would like you to know that I actually still use "occasionally"! I have a good time, accept that there is going to be a down time, but that's just part one the ride. I'm so excited to share my journey with you because I think I could help you see a completely different type of addict.only for perspective and balance. Not all addicts are victims and sometimes that's all it takes is to remind them that you are most definitely not victims and they only have to do 2 things. The first is to rip that victim sticker off and take control. The second is to commit yourself to a life of Integrity. They are the tools that this type of addict need to take back their lives. I would love to talk to you about this. I really would! Cathy Short.

@Healthyholistics Please, I want to apologise ,because I may have come across a bit strong. I am not saying for one minute that what you are doing is wrong in any way. You are absolutely right, and most of these people, most unfortunately have suffered from horrendous and multiple traumas and are essentially broken. These precious souls need your program and I wish you and your clients nothing but success. Cx
