Hammerhead trail in Stromlo Mtb park is a XCO circuit that’s more tech and dh than that.

The BB is the worst place to cheap out on structural integrity... it looks wafer thin there towards the back.

Have as much fun as I can and hope for the best That sums up my race strategy as well. I was lucky to race a steep hill where no pedaling required. LOL this course is a cross country race

I really tried keeping an open mind with these new commentators but after a year and into this year I am not a fan of Rich whatever his name is or Cedric. They have salvaged it getting Gwin to help out, he is doing awesome but I would much rather see him race and listen to Rob and Claudio or even Eliot. It’s really a shame they don’t listen to the fans and get Rob back.

I know the camera never does justice to how steep a slope actually is, but... (as an XC racer in the U.S. Midwest)...that doesn't look that bad. Now riding up it, at race speeds? *That* would be really tough.

These competitions are pushing the drivers skills but in some seriously unsafe ways. Even cross country races are looking more and more like downhill. Its not healthy for the sport

Well it's better if we use alloy than carbon some manufacturers Value lightweight so much that the Filaments get thinner and thinner that When you put power on it it snaps the BB shell area Alloys don't break Though They're a few hundred grams Heavier than carbon you can trust the alloy no matter how much power you put on it it will never snap fun fact about aluminum alloy is when it's welded it becomes 10x stronger Than the the original Metal itself it means they don't break they never will it doesn't matter how you treat it you send it up flying Taking turns Jumping Hilly Roads Going into bumpy roads It just depends on your bike build if your bike is aluminum alloy then you want it to be a downhill specific bike role Just put parts for downhill rides if you want it to be XC just put XC build on it if you want crit put bigger chainring smaller Cogs and rigid If you want it to handle jumps just put parts specific for your Use carbon is overrated yet weak they say it's lightweight more stronger stiffer that's just claims to make people believe Them But thay was never true yes carbon is lightweight but they're not as strong as alloy they're Stiffer but not stiff as alloy carbon is superior in terms of lightweight And looks only because they have no welds So they look good Alloy is superior in terms of Shear strength lightweight Tensile strength Everything some of you might argue me but i have one thing to say If you collide carbon and alloy test which one will break first can carbon survive? Ofc not because it only takes One crash to break a carbon and Throw it away once it gets destroyed I'm outta here I trust aluminum alloy and titanium rather than trusting a Weakass carbon Who breaks Easily with One crash one mistake and one only

Not a good design. It defeats its purpose its supposed to stop the feel of the chain but the suspension Bob knocks it off and when it comes off you can't just put it back on you gotta walk ALL the way back to the tool box

Well they accelerate slower and are less manoeuvrable and he is small so he doesn't really have the ideal leg length for cranking round those big wheels. You can see the frame size/geometry and wheels are all too big for him.
