It genuinely blows my mind how these XC racers are able to maintain that kind of pace for so long, super human levels of fitness

How Pidcock pulled out a p5 after two punctures is unbelievable. What a performance.
@lio220 Жыл бұрын
Pidcock is the best in the world, dont forget he is small and light and is winning races with heavy bikes, he is the best power/weight in the world in cycling. He is also able to follow Mvdp and WVA on muddy Cyclocross races
@JP-om3ou Жыл бұрын
@@lio220 certainly is top talent- I’m with you there. It’s hard to define what “best” means. He certainly is one of the best in cx and mtb. In road I don’t think you can say he is the best.

Pidcock is also a success on the road and at cyclocross. An amazing all around cyclist. One of a kind

What a ride from Tom, wow. Pulled off twice and still fought into fifth.

Drill definitely faster. Surprised they didn’t have drill and faster tread in other zone unless he took a neutral. Think mechanics are costing time by not tossing away old wheel but attempting to manage it while working.
@darwinazana735 Жыл бұрын
@@sloothix I'm still wondering why Tom's fork didn't have the q-loc. I thought it was proprietary for suntour forks. The wheel replacement would've been faster.

Without the flat tire Pidcock would have won by a wide margin. He’s from another planet. Nino’s is having an amazing season, very strong. Congrats to Jordan, he never slow down in and remained strong to end victorious.

My bad bro! He is the greatest mountain biker in Brazil of all time, he brought UCI stages to Brazil last year in Petrópolis, at his house. He was the first athlete to be xco, xcc and xcm world champion, he is the guy with the most top 5 finishes in the world cups. It showed that not only Europeans have good legs, South America was seen as a power, it had great battles with Mathias van der Poel and Nino. Avancini is a reference for us 🇧🇷

A Cross King isn't even slower than a Race King on the front. It is comical seeing these mechanics change a wheel like they've never practiced it under pressure.
@obiseankenobi2056 Жыл бұрын
it's possible to weave a new carbon rim by hand , grow your own rubber trees to produce raw rubber that is then processed and formed into a new tire , formulate your own custom organic localvore tubeless sealant and then hand craft that all into a new wheel using hair from 1" above your bib line as spokes - faster than those dudes were able to swap one out in this race
