What’s the point? No recipe?

I understand your point, and you’re right-this was one of my first videos where I just wanted to show the process without going into too much detail. It’s more of a visual inspiration for those curious about making chocolate bonbons. I appreciate your feedback and will definitely keep it in mind for future content. Thanks for your understanding!”

isn't that the French Sauce American?
@ChefJerryMiller
@ChefJerryMiller 2 ай бұрын
Well it was originally a Stew from Marseille,France created by the fishermen. It was made with fish they couldn’t sell or got sold. Which is why it makes such a good sauce, you can use fish bones, lobster bones and serve it with the rest of the lobster meat, or turbot or perhaps monk fish

you didn't show any ingredients or even you cooking so it looks like you just put raw chicken in a sauce on a plate
@ChefJerryMiller
@ChefJerryMiller 2 ай бұрын
Well it’s a good thing the chicken is not raw on the plate, but what it is will be revealed upcoming week.

I would have liked to see a spoon go through it after plating, to see the texture.

And that's how you present this? Looks incredibly boring, no color or other flavor interest to off set the apparently unseasoned mouseline-ish white rectangle on a black plate that even a hospital might attempt to make look more appetizing. If you're a chef, you're not very artistic frankly, I stayed to the end hoping you would do something creative... but you didn't. Is this some new minimalist fad for the gastrically challenged?

If this is the easy recipe I will avoid the difficult one... Could have saved 14m30 sec by simply saying melt it all and chuck it into a mold,.... or shorter still, Why bother just buy a slab or six...

What kind of yeast, please? Bakers yeast? Or brewers yeast? I have heard that bakers yeast will make it taste very bad.
@ChefJerryMiller
@ChefJerryMiller 11 ай бұрын
Well that can be true yes. However I have been using fresh yeast and dried yeast and brewers yeast(with each time the same amount of yeast) and didn’t taste a difference. However I can understand if u make an version that has some alcohol that it would have a taste difference , but the main reason for that being more yeast that would be added to get the alcohol in it. The amount of yeast that I used was the size of a pea which is not that much. 5 gram/ 0.17 ounces was the amount I used. On 2 Liters/0.5 gallon it is not that much

you are right, and my apologies if you would like an explanation for it as well. i would love to tell all about it. The reason why i didnt explained it was because i thought it looked very simple or easy to understand. just boil the pumpkin and when its cooked mix it with the handmixer

@@ChefJerryMiller it still would have been nice to know what your recipe was. As it is your recipe. I've never made it before but I know how to cook. But I've never made pumpkin soup before. Everybody has their own way so it would have been nice to know what your way was. But the video looks great and so does the pumpkin soup

What are the other ingredients other then pumpkin, you have added in the soup. Because in your vedio only pumpkin, onion and oile is visible. Kindly add the other ingredients as well.

Well I added a basic stock cube, besides that salt. It is pure pumpkin made on a very effortless way. It taste very rich on its own, but soon there will be a new one on the menu that has a bit more depth in it

I also cook with my hands sometimes. When it comes to flipping bread or a tortilla on a pan I don't see the need to mess up utensils. Neither does my bff (she lives with me), or my mom. My dad calls us crazy for doing this 😂 swear he's counting the days till one of us gets hurt
