This is 100% accurate and happened me twice. Both times the girl did a super fast u-turn and suddenly was interested in me as soon as they found out I was dating someone else. It was immensely satisfying walking away and ignoring flirty texts and wanting to arrange meet ups. I still think about it 15 years later 😅. Guys what's actually happening is that in the girl's head you're the back up option. She'd rather someone else but has you up the sleeve if needed as option 2. Problem is they think this option will always be there. Suddenly when it's gone they realise you were actually a good catch all along and the realisation that they've lost a good one dawns on them. It's super common and I've seen it happen friends as well as me.
