Hey, one big question, is there yet anywhere in the world you can buy the replacement valves? I’m in New Zealand and this is the only higher quality wearable pump available here. It’s also quite expensive to buy here, but I could buy a barely used one easily, as I’m not surprised that people try it and find it isn’t for them. The main thing making me hesitate is I have no idea if I’ll ever be able to order replacement parts, even if I could get them overseas, maybe I could order a whole bunch at once and I’d be really interested to try it.

Can you only use Unimom specific duckbills for replacements or are there others you know of that are compatible?

You know humans were born w plastic in them due to our water supply having plastic in it. Even having bottled water introduces you to microplastics, let alone having any beverage or food item in plastic, you are certain to get microplastics ingested. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33395930/ Babies are born w microplastics from the placenta 😂

Do they both use the same parts?

Willow has a video commercial where they show all the users walking about in public with the top of the pumps peeking out and visible; was that strictly movie license or does anyone use them in that manner? I'm assuming they did that to show the product in use and it would also be understood that the clothing worn would typically cover it fully.

I use sidelying on a pillow because I pump while I feed her but I believe it’s contributing to her having reflux. Is there a remedy to this?

I have another bottle option that I really enjoy that isn’t as expensive. Boon bottles. Everything the milk touches is silicone. Not as good as glass, but better than traditional plastic.

I’ve been using this pump since 5weeks pp (currently 11 weeks pp), it’s been working well for me (I think?). I usually get 3-4 oz per side. Now I’m nervous my supply will tank in the next few weeks. Which pump would you recommend. I had the spectra (blue one) through insurance, but didn’t know how to use it and got overwhelmed so I gave it to a friend. I ended up renting the Medela symphony for a month. I would like a more portable pump if possible. There are just so many pump options that I become so indecisive.

Do you see them coming up with an android update to match up to the iphone?

UPDATE IN COMMENTS Tried mine and immediate pain. I have a elvie OG, Willow go, and lasinoh discreet duo-for reference. I love them all and get the same output. I was so excited to try this as im an underproducer and was hoping the heat would help. Currently thinking about selling mine, but will try it tomorrow again to give it another chance. The holes in the inserts HURT. Please get different inserts. They literally cut me. And the suction is STRONG. Level 2 is stronger than the higest level on all my others. The heat feature was a little disappointing. I was hoping it would be warmer. I will be trying it again and tomorrow with different inserts and pray for different results.

Mason Jar brand has nipples & lids for mason jars although I have only found one nipple option & my baby hates it. It's also large & obnoxious in my baby's face.

"BPA free" means the plastic doesn't have BPA in it. It's only false advertising if the bottles actually did have BPA in them. Companies aren't responsible for people having no reading comprehension skills or jumping to conclusions that aren't supported by that simple statement of fact. If they were advertising the bottles as "microplastic free" or something, there would be reasonable standing to sue. If the complaint is really what you're describing here, the lawsuit is frivolous and should be dismissed.

I’m 8weeks PP. I was using my spectra S2 until last week when I purchased medella freestyle. I log in my milk output and found that my milk output has increased with medella. As an exclusive pumper I m only using the freestyle wearable 7 times a day. I don’t feel like using the spectra anymore . I have heard that wearables shouldn’t be used all the time but I like if better than spectra. What should I do?

Roflmao remember the old school bottles that were used in the 80’s and 90’s. Remember when moms put them in the microwave wave or in water boiling in pot on the stove. People need to get a hold of themselves

I have this pump. I have been using it for about a month. I just pump once a day after my baby takes a nap. I was trying to build a freezer stash. I like this pump, it’s hands free, works well for me, and I like the mixed mode. My only complaint is that I had to replace the duck bill already. The only place to get replacement parts is on their website. The diaphragm is out of stock too. So if they are out of stock on a part, and you need it as soon as possible you might not be able to use the pump.

I fell victim to these tactics 😭 I have the S12 pro and the M6 😕 I WILL say that they did initiate a refund for my M6! I contacted customer support after having issues with it. At first they offered to give me another S12 pro, but I was firm that I wanted my money refunded, and they did agree, so at least there’s that! With that being said, my only other pump is the Dr Browns pump which of course is not mobile, which is something I desperately need. After watching your videos amongst others, I really want to get the Baby Buddha 2.0, but I’ve also heard the suction is pretty strong. I am in the sensitive side and only ever use my S12 Pro on levels 1-3, usually 1 or 2. Will the Baby Buddha be too strong for me? I don’t want to get yet another pump that I’m dissatisfied with 😕I did order the Rumble Tuff cups after seeing your wearable cup video about them lessening the suction! I may try them with my Dr Brown pump if it’s compatible. I just haven’t brought myself to pull the trigger yet on the Baby Buddha, I’ll more than likely do it once MomCozy refunds me. Any advice on getting it to work for me with being sensitive?

Why use plastic when glass is available?

I hate to break it to new moms, but there was a study that came out about late 2019/2020 that stated that all babies born after 2020 are born with plastic IN THEIR DNA. I wonder what that means for our babies and their health/future going forward. 😢

Dr Browns doesn’t disclose exactly what kind of plastic is used in their bottles. BPA is just one form of the plastic molecule. Its cousins, BPS and BPF is also harmful. Watching the CNA video on this research, these microplastics that leech into the milk can trigger estrogen receptors in humans. Search “Talking Point” or “CNA” or “Are BPA water bottles really safe?” It explains it all. Do we want estrogen hormonal imbalances in babies?
