So enjoy your videos! We are also Mahinda people and Bush junkies. I really like your setup. We have a Karoo S6 double cab 4x4 and a Campmaster Chobe tent with a front runner awning soon to be changed for a Campmaster Canvas 3x6m Gazebo. I grew up at St. Lucia where my dad was Warden in Charge of Mapelane, St. Lucia Estuary and Game Reserve, EasternShores and Cape Vidal. We love Mkuze, Kozi Bay Mouth, Sodwana, Itala (best campsite in the world at Doornkraal, unfenced, leopard sightings every day, next a beautiful river) and I think you guys would love it! Would lve to meet up at a campsite sometime and kier nicely.

Hey thanks for sharing! - can you tell me what is the power/ load shedding situation in the camps? How long were the cuts and did the generators always work?
@SteveNuns
@SteveNuns Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching and commenting. Three of the five camps we stayed at do not have electricity. Also we do not rely on or use external power. So even in the two camps that do have electricity, we weren’t aware of loadshedding taking place. So, unfortunately, I do not have an answer to your question - sorry.

@@SteveNuns Thanks - what about cell phone signals, were you getting those in the camps?
@SteveNuns

@@RG....... yes, cell signal wasn’t a problem in camps. It was a bit patchy in Balule and Tsendze but still usable.

Nice video. How was the gravel from Augrabies to Riemvasmaak? A friend of mine did it last year but turned around and went via Kakamas instead. He told me it was quite dodgy and technical terrain. I have a 4x4. do you recommend it or would you advise to take another route.
@SteveNuns
@SteveNuns Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching my video. We did this trip two years ago - mid-2021 - two years ago. The road from Augrabies to Riemvasmaak wasn’t that bad. It was easily doable with a 4x4. You really should not have a problem with it.
