When you add even 50hp to a motor that wasn’t designed for it, it’s not going to last. Nothing more annoying than some diesel bro putting a tune on a truck that dumps a ton of fuel into it so he can blow black smoke from stop light to stop light and then he has the balls to complain when his truck blows up. All you gotta do is live in the south, in the summer, and you will quickly figure out the use of just clicking the remote... without having to go outside... and the windows roll down and let a lot of the 150 fuxing degree heat out of the cab.... yep. Just like in the winter up north and the auto start feature. Set to defrost when you park and hit that remote in the morning while having coffee or cocoa and you have a cleared windshield when you are ready to go.

In hot weather like Florida rolling the windows down then turn on the truck for ac is the best way to cool down the truck as fast as possible. Opening the tailgate with the key fob is the best if I’m far away and need to pick up something heavy I can open it before I pick up the item then not worry abt putting it down opening the gate and picking it up again saves energy

i have a friend who is a very well-known tuner on the cummins forum. a few years back, he was forced to locate his business out of Canada due to the epa. he was making 50k a momth, so i trust his business moves. a year or two ago, he completely shut down out of fear of tbis happening. he made a fortune, but it still blows my mind that he could have gotten into so much trouble. i won't be responding with any details. i figured sharing this vague experience would be interesting to some of you
