the bummer is the fact that these cards are not LEGAL for tournament play.... so meaning... FOR TRUE Pokemon TGC players this deck is practically useless which is sad... for the price of this set idk why you can't use it..

Compared to such a castle of the lion knight, which is at the same price, mos eisley cantina looks ridiculous. 4 years is enough, Lego investors have been in the clouds for the last few years, moreover, there is already a recession in Europe. It can easily take 5 years when someone in Europe will give you 700 USD for it.

this set is massively hoarded. everyone thinks it is going to do amazingly well after retirement. that is the reason it is not going to happen.

I just managed to get one (October 2024) just before it retires in December 2024. Bought it from the Lego store and got over 2500 points! I won’t be opening it even though I love the set (and want to open it), I willbe wrapping it up in bubble wrap and storing it away in the attic for 5 years. There won’t be another set with all these exclusive mini figures in again.

Pre Eratta is the way to go. Better investment than the blue bottom boxes. Blue bottom boxes have wave 2 cards as well

They will be valuable in the long term since it’s a “collector set” that comes once a year, but DEFINITELY won’t ever compare with the 1st collector set. The 1st collector set is basically the 1st edition base set shadowless Pokémon booster box

Agree with you 100%! I’m a collector myself not a player and even I know it’s the players that keeps the TCG alive not the collectors.

Collect blue bottom booster boxes or collect the pre-errata cards themselves since the blue bottom contains only some pre-errata and mostly normal cards ??? (Not all cards inside blue bottom are pre-errata)

Blue bottom will NEVER see a reprint since it contains pre-errata cards.

Sets should be readily available for EVERYONE not just collectors like they were before.

Prices are how they should be. More reprints please.

I already got 2 Eldorado fortresses (at 30% off <3 ). I am considering another 1 or 2 , all for my personal enjoyment. Not a huge pirate fan, but the pieces here are really good for castles as well. And I fear we are not going to get as many castles as I would like. Regarding the Cabin, I am trying to get one, wanted to get 2 or 3 as viking houses, but I htink there are other better ways to do that (like 4-5 viking villages). Might get one to have it because it's awesome. I have one of the tree house as well. I keep having this idea of getting another one to make a castle build with it, but I think there are other better sets for that as well.

I really love the look of this box, but I'm also having doubts about the investment. I guess I'm gonna pick one up once it has cooled down in price a bit, since all boxes and items are going down massively lately, but damn it would look amazing in a sealed collection indeed!

I bought this set recently fully intending to hold onto it for a number of years. Every time I look at the box, I move a little more toward keeping it and building it myself to enjoy it. I have plenty of time to decide!

I'm really worried about the aftermarket supply for the el dorado fortress. Great set, and pirates of baracuda bay did well, however I'm concerned the secret may already be out for this one. Still going to buy one or two though and see how it goes.

That is also the reason I would be nervous about investing in either of these sets because I see them both being likely targets to get extended.

75356 Executor Star Destroyer has an alternate build for a Venator, no extra pieces needed. Very cool. Worth buying an extra set just for that build. imo

The nice thing about the 501st battle pack is that all the clones get accessories to cover up most of the helmet holes. Personally, the holes don’t bother me too much, but I’d prefer that they weren’t there.
