The nice thing about the 501st battle pack is that all the clones get accessories to cover up most of the helmet holes. Personally, the holes don’t bother me too much, but I’d prefer that they weren’t there.

75356 Executor Star Destroyer has an alternate build for a Venator, no extra pieces needed. Very cool. Worth buying an extra set just for that build. imo

Try rebrickable..many alternative builds for many sets

Annoying some are now not on the retirement list...but that's how it goes..still i got them at a great price so ill just put them away for longer.

Really thinking about getting the cantina over the may 4th period with 4x vip points on it. I think that would mean I could almost get the executor star destroyer with it which would be great plus the promotions which I see going for a decent amount after

That definitely sounds good! The Cantina is a fantastic set and i agree that the GWP's will be probably worth a decent amount on the after market. Absolutely great promotions for all Lego Star Wars collectors (and investors).

Great set, best R2-D2 to date in my opinion. If you want it for your own collection then you can buy it. As an investment you have to wait untill the set is about to retire and that will not be this year.
